@minimi22 that got me thinking, is the power of Family the opposite of the power of friendship. As most shonnen which rely on the power of Friendship are orphans of one or both parents.
@Ruiso thats right i truly dont understand whats going on with authors head making MC masochistic (not in sexual manner) eg: (EG for japanese)novel losing friends,parents & loved ones=power Up , (this eg is for chinese novels) having a great background but for some bullsh*t reason MC's parent make them live a life full of hardship and making hiers of nobel familes look like idots who think from thier lower parts, if that was the case how did thier family rose till that point and survied for that many years and only MC & his friends have bains
@Kamisamaisayurilover because the firsts generations wer those that worked hard to establish the prestige and power of the family while the later never knows hardship born in an influential family, most of the time when a young master got beaten, the revenge that follow isn't because of a young master being beaten by a nobody but the young master of xxx clan being beaten so the YM himself wasn't important it's the title
