Having successfully slip out from the school, Rimu and Kouta reunited on a certain place. They sneaked out from the east side of the school, where there was a wire fence with a hole, enough for a child to pass through.

This hole was hidden from sight because it's location is in a blind spot, directly behind the school warehouse.

No one knows the existence of this hole except them.

Naturally, this because it was made by Rimu herself with Kouta's assistance, when they were still in 2nd grade. At that time, Rimu coincidentally found a handsaw in the storeroom and then got an idea to make a secret path if she want to slip out.

Even after years later this hole still exist, just until the school directors decided to revitalize the school and replace this wire fence with a wall. But by then, Rimu already far long graduated from this school.

At least, until she went to senior high, this broken fence will still be here.

After slipping out from the fence, Rimu immediately walked to 7-Eleven¹<link>, the nearest convenience store. Behind her, Kouta quietly followed.

"Rimu-chan... Where are we going?" asked Kouta curiously.

"Of course, preparing ourselves. We can't just go ahead without applying any protection on our skin, right?" answered Rimu.

Protection? Against what?

Kouta couldn't understand what Rimu is talking about. But, he decided to remain silent and keep following her.

Entering the convenience store, Rimu quickly went to beauty section. She searched around for a moment before she took a sunscreen gel. She also took 2 masks as she passed.

"This please." Says Rimu to the cashier as she handed out the items.

The cashier seems surprised, as he didn't expect his customers was just two elementary school kids. They also still carried a school bag in their back. What about school, isn't this still noon?

But ultimately he still patiently serve the two kids.

"Total ¥530." says the cashier.

"Okay, can I use PayPay for the payment?" Rimu brings out her smartphone.

She did bring cash, but it was for emergency if the place didn't accept mobile payment. In Japan, this is unlikely except for some remote village.

As long as mobile payment is allowed, why not use it to the fullest?

"Then, please scan this QR code." answered the cashier as he pointed at the plaque in the side.

"Thank you."

Rimu swiftly finishes the purchase and quickly left the convenience store, dragging Kouta with her. In the parking lot, she handed one of the mask to Kouta.

Perplexed and curious, he could only question her.

"What is this for?" asks Kouta with a confused look, his finger played the mask.

"A precaution against the evil light and the dark miasma!" answered Rimu as she try to open the sunscreen bottle.

"Evil light? Dark miasma?"

Hearing Rimu's answer, Kouta became stupefied as he looked at her with incredulity. He didn't expect to hear such chuuni response. What the heck is evil light and dark miasma?

'Does she play too many games and can't distinguish between games and reality?'

But her next words cleared Kouta's doubt.

"Yeah, the evil light of ultraviolet! And the foul miasma of pollution!

During our visit in the city, we can't avoid their existence, so we must be prepare ourselves before we set off!"

Rimu clenched her fist with a serious face. To her, ultraviolet and pollution is an evil existence who brings harm to her loli skin!

That is why, to protect her skin and to maintain her loliness, she must prepare thoroughly.

The reason why she didn't do so last time was because she lack money. But now that she got a lot of money in her PayPay, and not mention extra allowance from her mother, there is no reason not to do so anymore.

"Ah, I see... Then we shall equip ourselves with the best equipment!"

Kouta nodded in understanding. It seems Rimu is only uses game analogy to her explanation. She even go as far as using a lot of difficult terms in her words.

The evil light and the dark miasma... that's very cool sounding, isn't it?

In that case, he decided to follow along. Besides, this is kinda fun in some sense. It's really enjoyable when he spent the time together with Rimu.

"Ah, yeah..."

Somehow, Kouta's answer kinda bugging her. Why is his response like he is role-playing inside a game?

Did she says something wrong?

Perhaps, her words was too difficult for elementary schoolers to digests. Well, it can't be helped though. After so long exposed to toxic internet life, her meme vocabulary couldn't help but somewhat affected.

But, since it seems he understand her words, then it's not a big problem, right?

Thinking about that, Rimu decided to focus on opening the sunscreen bottle. Exerting more of her strength, Rimu finally managed to break the factory seal and opened the bottle cap.

"Oh, it's opened!"

She applied the sunscreen gel to her exposed skin, including face, neck, hands, legs, and lastly her hairs. Done with that, she then put some in her hand, and palmed it to Kouta's cheek.

"LOLI OSCILLATION PALM!!"

Puk!

"Gyah! It's cold!!!"

Kouta shrieked, startled with the sudden cold sensation in his cheek.

"What are you doing, Rimu-chan?"

Experiencing Rimu's sudden attack, Kouta couldn't help but startled. He unconsciously rubbed his cheek with his hand.

Looking at his reaction, Rimu grinned with a smug face.

"Hehe, this sunscreen didn't feel bad, right? I choose the lighter one and easy to wash. You will even forget you're wearing a sunscreen. Come on, hurry and use this and we're ready to set off!" said Rimu as she give Kouta the bottle.

"Ah, you're right?! This is kinda nice." Kouta willfully accepted the bottle and use it.

Rimu nodded in satisfaction. Now that the preparation is done, they can start the trip.

She then pull out a hat from her bag and wear it along with the mask. The more skin that is hidden from the sun, the better. She also signaled Kouta to wear his mask.

"Now, we're ready to go! To Matsuzakaya! EI EI OH!!" Rimu cheered.

"EI EI OH!!" Kouta followed suit.

But, no matter how you look at it, their appearance right now looked like two suspicious elementary school kids.
