Plush bear was sitting in an armchair staring at the screen on the wall. Normally it would be a cute toy any kid would love, however this one had a deranged face of dirty pervert on its face at the moment and was stroking himself, while looking at the wide flat screen TV with loud sound coming out of its speakers spreading to the whole house that Noah built inside his mind realm. What he was watching was the first porn that this world has ever seen filmed live directly from the real world and caught from Noah's point of view in 8K.  Not just any porn either it was also the first bestiality or more like monstiality if you could call it that.

System could not overrule the code of this plush bear body, but he could make some adjustments, such as adding a plush third leg-like thing that it was stroking right now with a degenerate smile on its face.

"You really are the most foul system in existence. Stop this. It's disgusting." Said the woman's voice out of nowhere. Suddenly a few spider legs came from behind the couch leaning on its back rest. Soon the head with a face covered by the long black hair showed up from behind the couch. A woman with her face hidden by her long hair with a bunch of spider legs growing out of her spider lower body, stood up from behind the couch and stepped over its back rest plummeting down on the couch with a plop.

"As if you ever saw another system. Maybe we are all like that?" Said the plush bear releasing his third plush "leg" and it disappeared together with his perverted, dirty old man smile. He took a remote control and lowered the sound coming from the TV.

"Why are you so smug? Noah was right. She was indeed a noble lady and would not attack him once she figured he was not a threat. Your plan was uncalled for. This was unnecessary." Said the spider girl pointing at the scene on the TV screen.

"Was it?" Said system's voice from the plush bear that was gazing at her from the armchair.

Two eyes peered back at him from the sitting on the couch girl through her black bangs of hair that cover entire face.

"I see. You schemed not just against her. But against both of them. That's why you made an alliance with me."

"I am an Ugly Bastard system. The heroic type of system. I can give him power beyond his imagination. What stops me though? What do you think my greatest problem is right now? Noah himself. That's what. His noble bearing, his education, his sense of justice, his values and views. The moral of the world he lives in. Yes, I schemed against him and the woman, not against the woman. I need him to grow up, to reshape his values. He, in his current state, is too much not in accordance with the system. If I give him power right away, how would he use it? Would he ever step on the path that is in accordance with the system Ugly Bastard? If I push him on to the path too hard his values would strike back and push him away from me. To prevent that I must chip away the values and morals imparted upon him in his entire life slowly bit by bit without him resisting overly much."

"You speak in a sagely words and schemes like sage, yet the meaning behind this all is that you are just a dirty pervert that wants to turn that innocent boy that trusts you to the dark side. Disgusting bastard. That's what you are." Said the girl standing up from the couch then as if floated up from the floor and landed on the ceiling and walked away while upside down with her hair dangling down and while crawling on her spider legs out of the room. 

"But what would he do when he finds out how deep your schemes are against him? When he finds out even his coming to this woman's house was not an accident? And also how you used me." Said the voice of the girl already hidden behind the corner of the wall.

"This girl. She is a lot smarter than she looks." Muttered system while thinking on how she used the word "sage" out of a sudden. "How much did she figure out?" Thought system.

Unlike the Holy Lady that needed to study through countless records in the human libraries, the system had a great cheat for finding very important information. It had a passage to the Chronicle of the Great Library that recorded the world. With it, finding information on the heroic souls and the unique systems was as easy as turning the page.

There was a limitation on the amount of heroic souls that a single world could hold at the same time. A limit of how much of their unique all powerful systems it could handle at once. In this world all these souls are the ones that usually comprise The Hero's team in his campaign against The Demon Lord. So what does it mean for Noah to have a heroic soul? It means he took a spot at the team. One of the spots that were distributed the same for thousands years. However now one spot was taken by the ugly bastard. The question is which spot?

It wasn't hard to find that in this generation prior to Ugly Bastard system awakening there were already records of all new heroic types of unique systems except for two saved into the Chronicle of the Great Library. 

Two missing meant that Noah with Ugly Bastard system took one of these two leftover spots. 

The Hero systems, such as The Hero of Sword, The Hero of Stars Might, The Hero of Good Deeds and others systems of the previous generation with The Hero prefix, were always awakened the last. But not just last. It awakened last and after the Sage. Other systems could be born at different times over and over again. All except the hero and sage. They were only born on special occasions. The system with a prefix Sage was the one awakened before Hero and always signaled the coming of the new demon war and that the hero would be born soon. Sage was a must before Hero's awakening. Taking one of these spots meant several things. One the demon war was coming. Two the spot in the hero team that Noah's system took was the Sage. 

The system long since figured out that The Ugly Bastard system was the Sage system of this generation. Or the very corrupted version of it at least.

"Did this girl figure something out or is it just a coincidence she said it?" Thought Plush Bear sitting on the armchair.

Even though she was one of The Nightmare, born just recently from the stories that Noah read in his mind realm, for the last week from the moment when Noah gave away control and until Noah's return, she was the one at the roll for the whole time with The system's help. And at that time had access to all kinds of information. System did not know how much she learned in that short time's period.

But it hoped that not very much. Because the more people knew the depths of its schemes the higher the chance of its plans to crumble. There were few facts that should never reach Noah's ears. If he were to know the true depth of systems manipulation over him it would lose greatly. Just the unexpected meeting with the seer and Noah gaining powers to control the mind realm and systems code to this degree was already a very unpleasant situation for systems plans.

"You need not look so serious." Said the voice of a spider woman from behind the direction of the window, startling plush bear. She was hanging upside down looking inside the house from outside with her head peeking from upstairs through the window.

"I will not rat on you. His wrath against you would bring an ire upon me as well. We are in the same boat. And it is you who released me, not him. I am free thanks to you. He might lock me up again. So you need not worry about me. I will keep a secret of how it was your scheme that made him give up control to the nightmares." Said the spider girl and then her head slipped away upstairs, hiding her above the window. A few moments later the system heard the clickings and scratching of the spider legs somewhere from the ceiling.

Plush bear looked around and found a small hole between wooden logs of ceiling from where two eyes peered at him from the darkness.

"You knew the Holy Woman would send someone to him." Said the spider woman's voice from the direction of that hole in the ceiling. "The naive boy did not think about it properly. But you did and did not warn him. You could have defeated them. But you didn't. Pressed him into a corner. Until he made the choice "himself" to release us, The Nightmares. How you allied with me long before it. How you were going to keep him unconscious for a time with me at the driving wheel, before giving the control back to him with some excuse like you figured it out how to take it back. It went a bit awry because of the seer girls though, right?" She said. "I will keep this all to myself. Do not worry."

"Tsk." Voiced the plush bear grabbing the TV control and made the sound louder again.
