There was no point in saying that I just tried killing his student if all that became of my attempt was a rock.

“What kind of stones.”

[“Apparently they are something like mana crystal, I tried using magic before and they came out instead”]

Maybe he would have an explanation about why do I fail at being a magical spider? Well, the small scale magic actually came out properly, but anything bigger still ended up as a rock. Next time I’ll just use my old method of moving atoms again, but it would really make things easier if I stopped creating crystal from normal spells.

“To name it a mana crystal… would be a massive understatement. How the hell did you make a godstone?”

Godstone? I’ve never heard about that thing before. Hmm, if I look at it closely, it somewhat resembles that stone I touched some time ago, when I rescued Felicia and god accused of thieving by sunny. Could it be that it’s something special? Let’s appraise it.

Just as expected, I won’t find anything out by myself.

[“Want it?”]

“You seriously want to give out a priceless treasure like that? This is an artifact that can store the power of god! No matter how you look at it, this is impossible to get in human part of the world!”

[“It’s junk for me”]

The face of speechless old man was funny, it’s obvious I would give something to my pet and if he wants useless junk that I can make out of thin air, then I might as well burry him in it.

“Then I’ll gratefully accept.”

He took it with a wide smile on his face. I might give more of it to him later after some more failed attempts of using magic, but for now I was too hungry to train anymore. Since there was still some time before food was ready I decided to check what happened to my body. I definitely have never seen a creature like me before, so maybe appraisal will tell me more.

Are you kidding me? Insert name here? What is this, a joke of a junior programmer? Did it finally break or something? How am I supposed to tell what I am if even the system doesn’t want to give me an answer? It wouldn’t be because I’m a new species wouldn’t it? There’s no way gods would allow something like that to appear in their world and even if they did, a name for the new race would already be prepared.

My stats have gotten better, but I’m still far from that ancient dragon so I shouldn’t be that strong when looking at them alone. There are some nice new skills though, a lot of them from upgrading my previous ones, but I feel like they are somehow lacking. Like the author of the system created a lot of skills, but then actually forgot to implement them or just forgot some of the things that could make great skills. How do I say, it feels a bit like it was lazily done.

Now the new titles, [Demi-god] and [Spider queen], with the first one obviously coming from my evolution, but why and when did I get the second one? I mean my mother was supposed to be the queen with me being the princess at most so why am I the queen now? Is it because my mother got killed? But she will respawn soon, so why did it happen?

Yup, too confusing, good luck future me with figuring it out. Let’s see how Felicia changed throughout the months I was asleep.

Wait, not a catkin but a tigerkin? And her stats are comparable to the ones I had before my evolution… What is this cat!? Moreover she’s a princess now!? Is the system really shaping her into my daughter? Well, I wouldn’t mind, but she always behaved more like a cuddly pet, so I have my doubts about how “princess-like” she could be.  

But I’m not exactly behaving like a queen myself… what a lousy royalty.

Now, when is the food coming, because I don’t know how long I’m going to last with my stomach churning like that. The old man even took away the only snack I could munch on to stave off my hunger. If I won’t get any food soon, I’ll have to take another one and if I’m lucky, Arthur won’t receive healing magic in time.

He would survive, but if some of his limbs went missing, my next fight against him would be much easier, and I don’t think I will ever leave him alone. If I can’t kill him, then I’ll torture him until he doesn’t want to live anymore. Hmm, my anger is acting up again, but something is suppressing it… does it count as being handicapped? I mean the fact of being unable to feel emotions properly.
