CHAPTER 63: AWAKENING OF THE DORMANT RELIC, RESURRECTING THE FORGOTTEN FUTURE.

ORIGINAL Author: Chaos

SPINOFF Author: Vester

Mo Fan just stood there frozen in shock… he didn’t blinked nor could he breathe properly.

The air around him felt a lot thinner then usual. His chest was heaving up and down as his expression contorted into disbelief and of extreme grief.

His hands shivered, his mouth quivered, tears welled up in his eyes…

His knees started shaking as he fell down at the sight of his father’s shrivelled up and amputated arm covered in dried blood which was encapsulated in a strong mesmerizing bluish transparent barrier…

*PANT*

*PANT*

*PANT*

*PANT*

He clasped his chest tightly as he panted for air and curled up, he felt an acute pain in his chest and stomach. His eyes still wide in disbelief as tears rolled down his eyes incessantly.

For a few moments he was not able to utter a single voice even though he was feeling extremely suffocated.

Mo Fan’s mind raced, grappling with the enormity of what had happened.

His father, his rock, his pillar of strength, lay before him in such a state. The realization crashed over him like a tidal wave, threatening to drown him in a sea of grief and despair.

His vision was starting to blur because of the unending tears trickling down his eyes…

With trembling hands, he reached out towards the barrier, his fingers brushing against the shimmering surface and going past it with ease…

Touch…

Mo Jiaxing’s hand was cold to the touch, a stark contrast to the warmth and vitality it once contained.

“Urgh… Hgh.. *Sob* Uugh” Mo Fan wanted to scream, he wanted to shout but all that escaped his lips were choked sobs.

Mo Fan’s cries echoed through the desolate road littered with monster carcasses all over, a haunting melody of anguish and despair. Each sob was a raw, guttural sound torn from the depths of his being, filled with an unbearable pain that seemed to have no end.

In that moment, he felt utterly lost, adrift in a sea of sorrow. The world had been stripped of all meaning, all joy, leaving only the harsh reality of loss. And as he knelt there, broken and shattered, he knew that life would never be the same again.

“Uuuuhhh…” Mo Fan cries began softly, a trembling exhale that quickly escalated into a keening wail.

Meanwhile, the Evil Essence Orb bracelet of Mo Fan which was continuously absorbing the Evil Spring malevolent essence scattered across the Bo City had finally finished absorbing it!

A scarlet and ominous radiance sparkled from it as it started to intensify rapidly!

Swoosh~ THUD!!

Ba-Thump!!

“Uuuuhhh… uuuuhhh…” The sound was ragged, punctuated by sharp intakes of breath as he struggled to contain the overwhelming flood of emotion threatening to consume him.

Whoosh~ Swoosh~

THUD!! THUD!!

Ba-Thump!! Ba-Thump!!

The radiance of the Evil Essence Orb seemed to resonate with Mo Fan’s cries! As if it could feel the intense grief he was going through! The glow wanted to escape from the tiny pearl, it was flickering vigorously with all its might to break through the shackles!

“Uuuuhhh… uuuuhhh… uuuuhhh…” The cries grew louder, more desperate, as if Mo Fan were trying to scream out the pain that gripped his heart. Each sob wracked his body, causing him to shudder and tremble uncontrollably.

His tears were falling uncontrollably. He wailed like a little kid while being covered in monster blood all while dearly and gently holding the hand of his father as if he would hurt it… his chest heaved up and down furiously!

As his tears fell, the crimson glow from his bracelet intensified, pulsating with an eerie energy that seemed to respond to his anguish.

“Uuuuhhh… uuuuhhh… uuuuhhh… AAAAAHHHH!!!” The final cry was a primal scream of agony, a release of all the pent-up sorrow and despair that had been building inside him. It echoed through the night, a testament to the depth of his loss and the unbearable weight of his grief

BWOOOSSHHH!!!

DWOOOSSHHH!!!!

DTHUUDDHH!!!

Finally as if synchronising with his emotions, the ominous radiance from the Evil Essence Orb furiously EXPLODED!!

TIIIIIIIIIIIII~~~IIIIING

ZWOOOOOOOSHH!!!!!!!!!!

The Crimson Glow was like a huge Tidal Tsunami which spread in all directions and unleashed an enormous pillar of blinding light which shrouded even the night sky

The entire sky glowed in a sinister Crimson Glow! The glow was so strong that it even spanned beyond the Bo City and spread till far away who knows where…

The light illuminated the entire city, casting long shadows that danced in the night. The once calm night was now filled with an eerie sense of foreboding, as if the very fabric of reality was being torn asunder.

In the safety shelter, a wave of relief and joy washed over the people as news of the Darkwing Wolf's defeat spread like wildfire. The atmosphere, once heavy with fear and despair, was now filled with hope and gratitude.

Tears of sorrow mingled with tears of relief as families embraced each other, finding solace in the knowledge that the threat that had loomed over them for days was finally vanquished.

"Did you hear? The military did it! They defeated the Darkwing Wolf!" exclaimed a young woman, tears of relief streaming down her face.

"Our prayers have been answered! We can finally be rescued!" shouted an elderly man, his voice filled with emotion.

“Thank goodness! I was starting to lose hope, but now I feel like we can finally breathe again.”

“God has answered our prayers. We’re going to be okay!”

As the people celebrated and praised the military, conversations of gratitude and relief filled the air.

"Thank you, Commander Zhankong! You've saved us all!"

“Thank you, thank you! Our prayers have been answered.”

"We thought all hope was lost, but now we can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel."

"I can't believe it! We're going to be okay!"

“We can finally be rescued now, can’t we?”

“I heard Commander Zhankong led the charge. He’s a true hero!”

“Yes, we owe them everything. Without their bravery and sacrifice, who knows what would have become of us.”

The atmosphere in the safety shelter was one of jubilation and hope, a stark contrast to the somber mood of the past few days. The people, who had lost so much in the calamity, now found comfort and solace in the knowledge that the threat had been vanquished.

As they waited to be rescued, they knew that they owed their lives to the brave soldiers who had fought tirelessly to protect them. And as they looked to the future, they did so with renewed hope and optimism, knowing that they would soon be reunited with their loved ones and rebuild their lives once more.
