Hey,

I'm back. Everything took a while -.-.

Just to inform you ahead, this is the final Chapter of Arc1. I hope everyone enjoyed the story so far. Today will follow a side story. Every information could be considered as a spoilers, so no information about to :-X.

I set up the casserole, not paying attention to what the two did. Fen was with me, and that was enough.

When I finished preparing, I slid the casserole into the oven. My gaze switched to my smartphone. I had realized something that I had disregarded before. I didn't have any money, the only cash I possess was the one on the bank account, but it wouldn't last! I need a job...

Where should I look for work? MyChannel? Or live streaming? Maybe a job in eSport?1Well, MyChannel would be an equivalent to youtube.

I pondered and looked for inspiration on my smartphone, because in addition to unusual jobs, there were also simple ones such as salespeople at gas stations, in the grocery stores, or pizza delivery boy. As long as I would earn a lot, anything would be fine for me.

I surfed the pages and got stuck on an article...

Open casting for an eSports team! Everyone can register and show their skills in a tournament.

I read the article twice and checked out the promoter's website for more details.

Hmm? What's this?

I leave the tournament conditions and found an interesting fact.

The winners of the tournament are not automatically accepted as the new team! They will pick from the top teams (from the round of 16 and higher) who fits best into the company. The jurors will be active players of other teams and some managers.

I looked astonished. The game it was about was a MOBA, which based on the original mod.

Wow!

When I saw the prizes, my eyes widened one more time. The first place will receive prize money of 5000 € and a partner contract if they are interested. That meant that the company would give the winning team a helping hand with organizations their streaming, and so on, even though they won't be part of their esports team.

*Beep* *beep* *beep*

The timer was up, and the ringing declared that 25 minutes passed. I knelt and looked at the casserole.

Looks good.

I opened the oven and grabbed the oven tray.

"Siana!"

Desmond grabbed my hands and pulled them away from the oven tray.

"Everything OK?"

He stared at my reddened hands. He turned my hands back and forth and stared at my palms.

"What is?"

"You just grabbed a hot oven tray!"

I pulled my hands away and stared at him. He looked worried.

"I am fine! Heat can't harm me."

I grabbed the oven tray again and pulled it out.

"Ha!"

Desmond stared at me, puzzled, but kept silent.

“Don't stare into the air and set the table for us! Plates and cutlery are over here and there."

He awoke from his daydream and began to take the things out of the cupboard. At the same time, I prepared the casserole and carried it to the table. Desmond and Sam were already seated and were waiting for me. Fen laid down on his pillow and closed his eyes.

The mood was uncomfortable, and we fell silent. Without proper conversation, we ate the casserole until Sam spoke up.

“Hey… Siana… I saw the gaming laptop. What kind of games do you usually play?"

"Hmm... I'm currently playing BoJ and IU, but I've only just created my accounts for both of them."

BoJ, or Battle of Jotuutois, is a MOBA, where the heroes got no fixed roles. You can equip them to change their roles depending on the enemy or our team combination. The game offers balance to the extent that everyone can change any character trait from the start and thus be up to date with every update. BoJ was also the MOBA, which was titled by the eSports team and the tournament.2If the explanation is hard to get, just tell me. Same for IU.

IU or Iven Universe is an MMORPG with a Si-Fi setting, which takes place on different planets with several other political parties. The free world is PvE, but players can fight on huge PVP maps as they want to.

“Hey! I play BoJ too! "

Desmond was overjoyed at these parallels.

"Me too."

Sam agreed with him.

I shook my head and got up.

"Are you done?"

They both nodded, and I gathered up the dishes. I put the dishes in the dishwasher and took the beer out of the fridge. I placed it on the table in front of them.3And now we are back at the beer cans. I think there is nothing wrong with allowing beer with sixteen. Even if you ban it, teens would still try to get their hands on it.

“I leave the cans to you. I don't care what you do with it, but I don't want to keep them."

“Grrr! Woof! Woof!"

I raised my eyes and looked at Fen, who stood in front of the door and barked at it. I approached him and realized why he was barking. My bracelet pendant was blinking.

"Fen!"

I opened the door. I turned to these two with a hasty look.

"I'm outside for a moment, with Fen. Could you put your glasses and the rest into the dishwasher yourself?"

I closed the door behind me, not waiting for their answers. I followed Fen's shadow as he approached the glowing place. When I got closer to the still barking Fen and the object, I realized that the shining object, unlike before, was not a crack but a door.

*Bam*

The door swung open, and a young woman stormed through. She was in her mid-twenties. She turned her back on me and slammed the door.

“...grades feme Qadwa!”

She spoke in a language that I shouldn't understand, but ... I understood her! She said something like, "...seal the door!" She turned to me, and her platinum blonde hair just fluttered from the twist, which made her look like the graceful beauty from a movie.

“Huh? Heya!"

At first surprised, changed her expression turned into a big smile before she tilted her head slightly to one side and made a "peace" symbol with her left hand.

"Eh... Ah, hello."

She had golden eyes and platinum blonde hair, which made her look like a princess or a holy maiden.

"Hmmm... do we know each other?"

She stared at me with a curious look. I shook my head, but it didn't look like she was going to let up.

"S... Siana!?"

She let her fist land on her other hand.

"Huh?"

I was surprised to hear my name.

"Ha! You are Siana! My little half-sister, am I right!? By the way, I'm Avila. Your eyes are like mine, our mother's."

She pointed at her gold-colored eyes.

Sister? Siana... no, I have a sister!? I can't remember that something like this was selectable in SW! How can a character I've created... No, just the fact that Desmond's grandfather had a visit from my “mother” shows that Siana is much more than a video game character.

Avila grabbed my hand surprisingly and got me out of my thoughts.

“Hey, hey! Siana, where are we here?"

She looked around with a slightly irritating expression.

"Sorry, but I don't know anything about a half-sister."

I tried to shake off her hand and build some space, but her grip got firmer, and her eyes started to water.

"Uwah... Uwah..."

She started crying like a toddler, and I couldn't help it...

"It's fine."

I stroked her head.

"Where did you originally want to go?"

She looked at me, confused but answered.

"To mother."

Mother... huh? I want to meet her, as well...

"So... are you going to leave again?"

She shook her head at my question.

"Now that I could finally meet my little sister, I want to get to know her better too."

=== At night ===

I was lying in my bed, and Fen laid next to me in his pillow on the floor. But the problem was on the other half of my bed. Avila laid there and was already deeply asleep. She didn't even notice my discomfort.

Desmond and Sam's reactions couldn't be more different than when I introduce them to my sister. Because Sam took it easy, but it wasn't easy for Desmond because he knew where I came from. He gave me an irritated and worried look.

=== POV Siana (pseudo-third-person-view) === 4This is the teaser for the next Arc and in which kind of direction this story will develop.

"Tyrania ... are you sure?"

A shadow at the entrance of a cave spoke to the woman across from it. The woman was holding a small child in her hands.

"Please!"
