The opening of Pandora's Box changed the world, giving rise to an age of superhumans and monsters. Yet mankind was not safe from its own hubris, and in the end, it destroyed itself. It's the end of the world, but Sonya Chernovna has been given a chance for a redo. With her memories of the world to come and her deep hatred of the society that had risen out of Pandora's Light, Sonya sets out to change the future.
Even if it means being the most heinous villain that ever lived.

This is, in my personal opinion, one of the best superhero apocalypse redo story currently on scribblehub. The best part of the story is Sonya, she's well written and OP in just the right way. All haul the future ruler of humanity!

Typical Chinese novel with "face" and "arrogant young masters, " but instead of cultivation we have superpowers, instead of a male harem hero, we have a lesbian woman and instead of China - USA. And it's not necessarily a bad thing, 6-7 years ago I would have really liked it, but now it feels cringe.
Oh, and yes, the novel also follows tropes like:
- Heroine is a returnee, but she doesn't have any clear plan, so the whole plot is based on luck. Like, oh, I accidentally found a guy who will become the main smith of the planet in the future. And his bandit acquaintance has the potential to be a demigod. Oh, my doctor had the gift of eternal youth, and with its help, I can gain endless influence. And so on...
- Incredibly beautiful MC isnt bad, but it's noticed by everyone she meets. In every second chapter, someone will describe how beautiful the heroine is. Author, pls, touch the grass.
I will give 2 stars only for the fact that it has good grammar, no litrpg bs and some mild yuri.

The best thing about the story is the protagonist imo

This story is a bit like a mix of stereotypical korean redo fics with a sizable hint of the chinese equivalents. It's wrapped in a nice package with a lady that's into other ladies as the lead instead of the stereotypical sociopathic edgelords you always get in aforementioned stories, which makes it automatically a cut above most of them.
It has most of the same problems too, protagonist is OP as balls (she's basically all for one, but stronger) and well that's a little boring (it's called OVERpowered for a reason) and although there is indeed a bit of a girl's love subplot absolutely nothing has been done with it except the protagonist pining for a girl she could easily meet up with if she wanted to but hasn't made any effort to at all (e.g. the subplot isn't convincing in the slightest and underutilized). I didn't expect any better considering the lack or a romance genre tag (there is a late romance tag, but how late can it be, we're at 70k words and the main love interest isn't even in the story yet, except as a name...) but it's still a bit of a letdown because if it was more utilized it could really elevate this story.
So yeah, this story is allright, it's even kinda good for what it is, but what it is is still ultimately a generic time reversal/redo fic, it has not provided me with anything yet to really set it apart from the rest but I will keep reading.

The "OP mc" is not exactly an uncommon trope. Think of any protagonist who fits being "OP". Now describe the character. I don't know about you guys, but for me it usually starts with "well, they are strong" or "they are cool and badass", and then struggle to come up with the next sentence. If you are looking for that kind of main character, then this story is NOT for you. Sonya is far more complex than most of the main characters I have seen in the "restart" and "superhero" tropes. Unlike a lot of those stories, being overpowered does not solve all of Sonya's problems. This story does not revolve around the main character being overpowered and beating up her enemies, no, it is more focused on how someone who is not born a villain becomes what society deem as one.
One common trait of the villain/antihero MC trope would be that they are usually portrayed as stereotypical edgelords with sociopathy. Sonya, while certainly not the most mentally stable, does not act like your usual "Regression Manhwa" MC who straight up defeats anyone that stands in their way on their quest for revenge. The "OP" part of her ability lies within its potential, and as of this moment she has little to no chance of winning a direct fight against her enemies, despite her advantages. So if you are worried about the MC being "OP" and ruining the story, dont. Her enemies are equally strong, and not all problems can be solved with power alone.
Overall, the best part about this story would be Sonya. As for the downside? Well, with the amount of characters and events happening in this story, it gets harder and harder to keep track of everything. The story starts off with a few important characters, all whom are well written and likeable. As the story goes on however, more and more characters are introduced, and I can see that the author cares about each and every character, no matter how minor the character is or how late they are introduced. While this can be a good thing as it shows that the world does not only revolve around the main character, I get impatient when Sonya or the first few important characters to be introduced doesn't show up for an entire chapter.
Finally, I can see how much effort is put into this story, and that the author actually takes suggestion from readers. On top of that, the regular update is something that I really appreciate. This is, by far, one of my favorite novels of all time. Keep up the good work!

The best novel out there, where characters speaks with acts and not just blanking their goal alone, perfect introduction for each character, A STORY WHERE A PLAN GOES WELL !!!! WOOOOHOOO !!! An international dimension of the story, it happen all around the world and not just in the USA, gay relationships that are not cringe, but not only, very good superpower stuff, there is a lot but not to much important persons and it give more depth to the story ! Like, the view of the Heroes, of the Vilains, of the Solo (inspector), of a new character that we don't know, or the arrival of the Taximan, if I could give more than 5 stars I would, legendary quality here !

Beautifully crafted. I didn't fully believe when some of the reviews claimed this was the best s**t you can read here today... But, got to tell you, you would really regret skipping this bliss. Beautifully crafted, sums it all up. High quality stuff you will rarely find on the net. Hope to follow this story to its completion, and I sincerely extend you my hand so that may you step aboard this pirate ship. May the waves we sail be legendary.

Love this story. The MC is OP in the right ways. The writing is great and there are extremely few gramatical errors.

as of chapter 26 the character is basically stronger than Ediolon from The Worm/parahumans and I can only see her getting stronger as time progresses.

Being fully honest the story is absolutely amazing, I love it and I wish I had discovered it later when there were more chapters out because I just read this entire thing in the span of two days and oh my god.
Quite possibly one of the best superhero stories I've checked out so far, the humor is actually funny, the writing is easy to understand and the characters are actually reasonable for once!
Sure, I don't really enjoy the whole OP protagonist but this story seriously sells the appeal to me. I simply love Sonya's character so much man I an a huge sucker for "Villains" like her!
Needless to say 5 star experience would recommend! ≪ 3
