Archwizard Hyren Gilgamesh is experimenting with portals into other dimensions, despite his apprentices' pleas not to, and winds up completely stranded in the middle of a warzone.
The people here are strange. Despite supposedly being secretive and sneaky, they wear metal headbands with their village's affiliations, run in entirely ridiculous ways, and wield magic in a unique and, frankly, absurd fashion. Instead of being frustrated or feeling despair, Gilgamesh decides to befriend the village he arrives closest to in order to secure land to set up a magic tower and research a way home. Luckily, they seem to be under attack by a giant red fox, so he can use this to his advantage!
Plotline? What plotline? Archwizard Hyren Gilgamesh is far too old to care about that. He does what he wants and will continue to do so, regardless of where he is. If these children want to play their little war games and throw around knives, so be it, but they will not hinder him while he is working on a way back home. Also, why are they imprisoning intelligent animals like slaves? Why are there numerous white, and one black, parasites running around spying on people? And why does everyone keep trying so hard to kill him!?! No, no, no. That will not do at all.
He will just have to teach them why he is considered to be the most accomplished wizard alive and has been for five millennia.
A/N: Join Archwizard Hyren Gilgamesh on his journey to find a way home, completely flipping the board on the Elemental Nations in the process.
