They say pain and loss make us better and stronger people. Starting from a broken home but finding something more, can that forge you into a better hero? When your powers come from a notorious supervillain, does that fact define your future? Does it decide who you are?
Notes:
I haven’t finished writing the most recent arc of the original draft due to a series of crippling mental blocks caused by various challenges, stress being one of them. While I imagine these challenges are unlikely to improve anytime soon, I want to try to stop being paralyzed by doubt and depression. This is the version I polished until it gleamed in the hopes of it getting picked up by publishers, with the help of AlliterativeArts. Sadly that didn't come to pass at the time and it’s been stored ever since.
SuperLuminal holds a special, irreplaceable place in my heart where Sureia lives on. This isn’t just any novel to me; it carries great personal and sentimental value. It's been your acceptance and love have been the keys to reviving my ambition as a writer—love and acceptance I hope to earn anew and so I've dusted off the files on my computer and am releasing what I have! We’ll forge onward despite all the barriers that both I and SuperLuminal continue to face. If things go well, I hope to have my memory refreshed by the time we reach the end of this material and to throw everything I have—all my passion—into the next big arc.
Thank you for your support!

tldr; Structured basically like a Light Novel series. We get a mostly fluffy tone, but we touch on some incredibly dark themes that the characters do honestly try to work their way through with the love and support of those around them.
This is the introductory arc of a young trans-woman who loves her friends and family deeply and who, despite some incredibly traumatic events in her early childhood, tries her best to navigate life and the perils of being a teenager. That she also happens to unexpectedly gain magical superpowers in this world of capes and cowls is kinda spoiled by the cover art, sooo...

Right-o! So I'm the fella who's been helping the author edit this fine work here so see above, biased as all get-out. You'll see it on the page, but we've both put a ton of work into this and I think we've managed to achieve a huge step-up in quality from the first draft. Even if I wasn't as close to this as I am, I really would recommend this story to people so please check it out.
Comments are always read and any kind of constructive feedback is always appreciated. Stay safe out there and let the Light protect your dreams~

5 stars, totally worth it in my opinion.
I read the original version and it was great. But this one while kind of the same is taking the slow burn approach. And it just works.
There is also a lot of emotions in here. So 5 stars ? ????

Working our way to the last chapter published in the original, it will take some time to remaster. I have been wanting the author, someone I know and care about, to return to the world of Leona and others. What led up to this is her other works since it was released like Euphonia. Instead of a novel series to release on returning, she decided to focus on this remaster. To those who think that choice might be boring, mostly because of American popular choice, you would be wrong. I highly suggest reading this story.
