Gods/Purebloods/Half-bloods

Gods: The gods in Godly Domains aren't all-powerful. They more like Norse gods, they can die and their powers have limits. Their powers are connected to their domains. The domain of a god determines what powers they have. A god with the domain of stone will be able to control stone. Multiple gods can have the same domain, but the way their power manifests will be different as a gods domain is a reflection of themselves. A god's domain is determined when they are born and grows as the gods grow.

Pureblood: Purebloods are gods who were born before the war. All the old and new gods are purebloods, and their powers come with no side-effects.

Halfblood: Half-blood is the name given to all of the children born from the gods after the war. During the war, a curse has been placed on both new and old gods. Making their children unable to fully manifest their domains. This results in side-effects when they manifest their powers. For example, a half-blood with the domain of stone might lose some of their senses. Or a half-blood with the domain of blood might have an addiction to consuming blood. This also results in the gods being unable to raise their children before they manifest their domains, as just being near them can kill the kids. So they leave their children to be raised with humans until they manifest their domains.

Domains

1. A Domain is something a god is born with, and keeps for there whole life. A god with a domain of stone will have powers relating to stone.

2. Different gods can have the same domain, however, the way they manifest their powers can be different. For example, two gods can have the Domain of stone, but one might manifest it by being able to move stone at will. While the other might have the power to create stone at will. Same domain, different powers.

3. A god's Domain is a big part of who they are and trying to deny their Domain can lead to grave consequences.

4. A god's Domain grows in strength as the god age, through training, experience and many other ways.

5. Usually, a god's domain comes with no side effects to the god themselves. Meaning the only harm that a domain will bring is through the god's own mistakes.

6. However, this is different for half-bloods. Half-bloods aren't able to fully withstand their own domains. Leading to side effects. For example, a half-blood with the domain of blood might have an addiction to consuming blood.

Twin-Domains

All gods, be it Pureblood or Half-bloods have a domain. Usually, they only have one domain, there are exceptions. Twin-domains are gods that as the name suggests have two domains. For Purebloods, this is a blessing as their potential power essentially doubles.

For Half-blood being a Twin-domain is a curse if not a death sentence. Roughly only 1 out of 10 Twin-domain Half-bloods survive past a year after awakening their domains. Almost all deaths are the result of the side effects of their domains. As double the domains mean double the amount or severity of side effects. And then those that do survive ever rarely get that strong.

The only rule that the gods found with Twin-domains is that they both can't be too similar. A Twin-domain god can't have the domains of stone and rock.

Realms

Realms are pocket dimensions that all gods have. Once a god is proficient enough in utilizing the energy that allows them to use their powers, they can start manifesting their realm. A god's control over their realm grows in proportion with their proficiency in controlling their powers. The overall appearance and laws/rules of the realm are dependent on the god's domain and power.

Gods can enter other god's realms, however, to force your way into someone else's realm is hard, time-consuming and very noticeable to the god of said realm. So if you're not invited into the realm and try to forcibly enter, be ready for a tough battle. If a god is invited or welcomed into another's realm, entering becomes as easy as entering their own realm.

It cost a god a lot of energy and concentration to enter their realm. So it's not recommended for gods to try to use their realm to escape a battle.
