An old Biomancer unintentionally activates a spell that he has been trying to perfect. Unfortunately, a side effect of the spell is his death. Luckily the spell did what he wanted, gave him more time to live, but with the unforeseen consequences of killing him. Waking up as a strange crystal, he finds himself alone. That is until a strange being who appears to be made of a humanoid void filled with stars tells him what he is. Now, he has to live as a dungeon core, a crystal capable of creating monsters through magic. Is this his chance to become a true Biomancer?
This story is my first attempt at dungeon core and monster control. I generally did more normal fantasy stories when I was just writing for myself but I decided to focus on this. Chapters will not come out consistently since sometimes it takes a lot more time to come up with inspiration. Constructive criticism would be very appreciated as it will help me to improve.
You can expect a slow start and at some point perspective switches, though I will try to keep them sparse since they can get annoying if you are really into the dungeon side of things.
