As I entered the room, I felt still, cool air flow across me – hardly disturbed, and giving way without resistance, and yet telling me, somehow, that this room was a place unto itself, only barely connected to the outside world.
Around the walls, people stood, though the light revealed little, only silhouettes of black against the deep navy of the structure.
A terminal was placed nearly in the centre of the room, bathed in a soft glow from a light source I could not see.
It was inviting me closer.
