As someone who did some forum roleplay back in the early 2010s this series really captured my interest. While some of the chapters lack a bit too much in context for me to fully understand what’s happening, the first chapter was also a bit too artistic for my taste, but that is not why I enjoy the series. The real draw for the series was the author’s notes and reflections on the stories which helped capture nostalgic and emotional feelings for me. I can’t promise you’ll feel the same way, I just had a unique connection to the material.
