Warning: The story has a romance tag, but it will only play a part in other characters, not the MC!! At least until the latter parts of the story.
In a world of mystical powers and equally mystical dangers, Dai Gengrui stood at the peak of his world, he united the entire world under his rule, his flag. At 10,000 years old, his empire crumbled, unable to withstand the test of time.
He was betrayed and killed by his own daughter.
Reborn in a new world that even he could not understand, he aimlessly built up power with no sense of purpose, with no will to conquer. That was until he heard the words:
"Yo, would you like to join the Secret Society of Reincarnated Souls?"
He was intrigued.
A Xianxia final boss, a chuunibyou, a "mob" character of an otame game and a mentally unstable sorcerer form a secret organization.
What a disaster looming upon an unsuspecting world of magic and soul weapons.

A few words from the author:
So, I wrote a chapter one night and decided to post it without any plan whatsoever. So I decided it would be nice to make it my first published story so I can improve my writing for my proper stories. Let's see where this goes! I don't expect to be writing this for long, well actually, after writing for a while I realized this series may run more than 70 chapters of 2.5k-4k word length, we shall see how this goes.
Idk what's with me and reincarnated OP beings, I hope this doesn't turn into a power fantasy...
Themes(for the contest):
Non-mainstream weapons(Try to guess)
Duality of a secret life (MC is secretly a drug- I mean Pill Lord, yeah.)
Cover "art" was made by me through the magic of Canva and MS Paint
Story is exclusive to Scribblehub
Style:
I like the style, the grammar is good, the length of the chapters isn't too long (some are super long though) nor too short, and the word choice fits. It's good, I'm just not personally a fan. The whole feel of the style is on the more serious side, the MC brings in this kind of like 'evil mastermind' type of energy into the mix, and while it's a nice combination, I'm just not a fan. But, personal biases aside, I'd give the style a 4 out of 5 stars, -1 stars cause some chapters are too long.
Grammar:
Not much I can say, the grammar is good and there aren't many mistakes. 5/5 for sure.
Characters:
I like the characters, they're well written and have good personality quirks. But, the brother,
Carlos, is a bit flat, I'd say he's kind of childish for a 14-year-old, his competitiveness and way of expressing his sibling rivalry feels more like something that an eight-year-old would do, not a teenage boy. He feels more like a plot device than a character, and normally that would be okay, but he's the MC's sibling, and I expected that a competitive brother would have more to their character than sibling rivalry and the occasional useful characterising dialogue.
Overall, I like the book, it's just not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, mixing a xianxia and an isekai is totally original and I think you executed it well. I'm just not a fan of overly serious stories, I hope this gets the recognition it deserves, cause I personally do think it's well written.
I also love your little author notes BTW. That's about it!
PS: I'm writing this at like two in the morning, I apologize for any mistakes. Me brain not working lol
