Miscellaneous
World Energy

The energy of the world. Powerful beings may utilize it. If it is fully depleted, the world will perish. The way it does is unknown.

Qi

An energy from another world that can twist the laws of the world. Only Dai Gengrui/Louis can use this... probably.

General Alchemy

A merchant organization that suddenly rose to prominence in a span of 8 years. It's benevolent leader, Rufus, saved the career of many young prospects. Their alchemical products is nothing short of a miracle medicine. Their base of operations is in the Duchy of Leon, but they are slowly expanding to other regions within Invicta

Items
Soul Weapon

A weapon unique to a person, usually awakened via magic at the age of 14, though the farther away from 14 one is awakened, the more detrimental effects will appear. The weapon is actually just a way to channel an ability innate to the soul, that's why a spear will not necessarily be superior to a sword in a large-scale battle.

Mana Crystal

An important component for spells. All spells use this in one form or another!

Great Leyline

Highest concentration of mana crystals in Invicta, so great that people near it can freely cast low-level spells,

Location
Invicta

Country where most of the story takes place in.

Duchy of Leon

Also known as the Leon province or Leon Region, it is a place that belongs to the ducal house of De Leon. It's banner is color purple with the golden mark of a Lion on it.

Great Leyline Academy

An academy named so because it is over an area where a great concentration of mana crystals can be found. It is known as the most prestigious academy in Invicta, and perhaps the world.

Acies

Royal Capital of Invicta, and Magical Research Center of the world. The only city in Invicta where it is completely legal to freely use soul weapons. Due to the nature of the Great Leyline, it is in a weird position for a city, but magic compensates for all the drawbacks of being built at the foot of a mountain.

Characters
Louis de Leon

Our protagonist. A reincarnated cultivator who once stood at the apex of his world. Now he is the heir of the de Leon household. He is a 14-year old boy with short blonde hair and a very handsome appearance. He is very well built for a child, and the mesmerizing beauty of his eyes rival that of his father.

Lucia de Leon
1st and only daughter of the de Leon ducal house. She is an energetic and violent girl who has a big interest in swords. This was because one day, she was almost kidnapped, but a wandering swordsman saved her. Normally, a young maiden would fall in love with her hero, but no, she fell in love with the sword. She could only be described as very cute, with a gentle doll-like appearance. Her golden hair is usually complemented with two locks.
Carlos de Leon

As the 2nd son of the ducal house of de Leon, Carlos is a very hardworking boy. He calls himself the rival of Louis but he secretly looks up to him and even copy his hobbies. He however, does not want to become a magical researcher but instead wants to become one of the greatest adventurers and have a dragon as his woman.... yeah. His appearance is very similar to Louis, which gives him issues because he considers his own looks inferior to his brother.

Paul de Leon

3rd son of the ducal house of de Leon. He is the youngest and most-reserved, he is very timid but surprisingly mature for his age also very interested in magic. He often holes himself up in his "laboratory", only to have his experiments blow up on his face, Arthur and Diana are extremely worried about him, so a servant is always there to guard him. He looks very different from his siblings, inheriting his mother's black hair, his appearance is very frail, must protect.

Arthur de Leon
Head of the ducal house de Leon. He oversees the entire Duchy, hence he is very stressed after every day of work. He loves talking to Louis and Lucia, since they always agree with him. He is a father before a ruler, to the point that he neglects duties for his children, which is problematic, his leadership however, is proven to be very formidable. He has an extremely handsome appearance for his face, along with his golden blonde hair, this makes his face look very punchable, despite being a duke, he is also a swordsman, so his form is well built.
Diana de Leon

Lady of the ducal house of de Leon. She came from a house of a Marquis, but she refuses to reveal much about her past. She cares very deeply about her husband and children, but understands  that someone has to guide them for their mistakes, that's why she adopted a very strict personality. Coincidentally, she is always on top of Arthur in bed. She had a very lady-like appearance, and dislikes hair accessories, so she always lets her black hair flow freely.

Juan de Leon.

Also known as Guildmaster de Leon. He passed off his responsibilities to his wife to become an adventurer, this did not sit well with Arthur, who somewhat resents him to this day. Undoubtedly the most powerful of the household, he is said to be able to 1v1 a dragon, though he doesn't dare try. He dotes on his 4 grandchildren a lot, regretting the days he did not spend with Arthur. Despite being old, he looks very fine for his age, with his beard being attractive for some woman, he is rumored to visit a brothel a lot... he has a tattoo on his right knee, bragging about how he took a giant arrow to the knee and continued being an adventurer.

Rufus

Apparent leader of General Alchemy. Rumors say his meteoric rise was due to a Mysterious Benefactor, but those are no more than rumors. RIght? Once the leader of a crime ring who turned a new leaf. He has a bulky figure and a shiny, bald head.

Leonor

Former head servant of the de Leon family, retired to be Louis' personal attendant. He decided to he Louis' personal attendant when he was at age 12, because he considered Louis a man of great character and responsibility. He uses his soul weapon to correct the mistakes of servants and sometimes even some high-ranking officials, and thus had earned a great deal of respect. He has a stern and rigid personality. He is a middle-aged man with long hair and a amiable face.

    Status: chapter 8 i think

    Style:
I like the style, the grammar is good, the length of the chapters isn't too long (some are super long though) nor too short, and the word choice fits. It's good, I'm just not personally a fan. The whole feel of the style is on the more serious side, the MC brings in this kind of like 'evil mastermind' type of energy into the mix, and while it's a nice combination, I'm just not a fan. But, personal biases aside, I'd give the style a 4 out of 5 stars, -1 stars cause some chapters are too long.

    Grammar:
Not much I can say, the grammar is good and there aren't many mistakes. 5/5 for sure.

    Characters:
I like the characters, they're well written and have good personality quirks. But, the brother,

    Spoiler

Carlos, is a bit flat, I'd say he's kind of childish for a 14-year-old, his competitiveness and way of expressing his sibling rivalry feels more like something that an eight-year-old would do, not a teenage boy. He feels more like a plot device than a character, and normally that would be okay, but he's the MC's sibling, and I expected that a competitive brother would have more to their character than sibling rivalry and the occasional useful characterising dialogue.

But maybe that's just me, 4/5 stars! You did a great job with the characters, I just didn't like that one specific character!

Overall, I like the book, it's just not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, mixing a xianxia and an isekai is totally original and I think you executed it well. I'm just not a fan of overly serious stories, I hope this gets the recognition it deserves, cause I personally do think it's well written.

I also love your little author notes BTW. That's about it!

PS: I'm writing this at like two in the morning, I apologize for any mistakes. Me brain not working lol
