Warnings:
This is a slow-burn story, answers and explanations aren't given right away.
The setting is grim-dark. And our protagonists are as human as they can get.
No superpowers. No easy trips. Heroes must earn their glory. Villains must earn their power.
There are 4 main characters around which the story orbits, each having their own narrative and perspective to the setting/events.

Honestly, I expected more R-18 stuff but it happens to be another one of those novels with serious plots,
I don't like hot girls dying, but anyway,
Hats off to the Author who uploads everyday like a beast,
And a special message to Author :
"Please don't die from burnout"

Is a nice story so far, it has a good deal characters and its world building is solid.
Unlike the original it is based on the R-18 is almost nonexistent to the point of feeling like it was put there just to justify the tag. Wich goes against the world building.
The frequent use of multiple chapters from diferent characters has made the plot advancement speed slow to a crawl to the point that is better to wait for the chapters stock to build up in order to see any form of advance at all.

Negative features of the book: 1) Too many deaths, torture, bullying. It reminds me of dark fantasy that I don't like to read. Depressing atmosphere. And accordingly, the tags are not specified, except for the word "death".
2) Too many sided chapters. Some are interesting to read, but most are not.
3) Also, the author did not specify the tag "s*x change" (gender bender). In the side chapter "Mark", an old ugly man becomes a young girl. And he and Mark begin to have a s*xual attraction. I stopped reading the chapters of "Mark" at a certain point in time, so I don't know what the development of their relationship has come to. And I don't want to know. The main problem of the author is that neither the tags nor the annotation indicate this.
4) The number of men is much smaller than girls (maiden). 10 girls for 1 man. But there are a lot of maiden whores, be it a village, a city or a dense forest. Which looks grotesque.
Positive features of the book: 1) An unusual interesting world with its own twist.
2) the author's handwriting is quite good, which is often lacking in the books on this site.
3) Monica. Her meeting with the main character and the development of their relationship. At least in the woods. 4) minor characters are well spelled out.

Compared to the old version, this version has a much tighter narrative. The different character perspectives work together to provide a more cohesive story (unlike the older version where they were haphazardly thrown in).
The small changes to the setting work well.
There are a few knobs that were tweaked in this story which might turn off fans of the originals, but I think it definitely makes it a bit more digestible for a broader audience.
Storywise, the lack of snu-snu does hurt the story a bit. Half the dread of the series left with it, on the other hand the story benefited from not going on and on about it.

The story is pretty good and I think it's fairly unique. The author does a good job of handling romance and interactions between characters. Chapter uploads are frequent. I think the differences so far between this version and the author's previous version of this story are interesting. Definitely if you are interested in monster girls you should consider reading the story.
