***The Gender Bending Has Nothing To Do With The Protagonist***

Samuel Roland Raith is a White Court Vampire living his life on the run but is otherwise completely normal. He likes to watch movies, read books, play video games, and feast on the emotion of lust from those around him. His entire race has been wiped out and hunted down by a group of megalomaniacs from the Red Court of Vampires called the Volturi. So, as far as he is aware, he is the last of his kind. He spends his time roaming the world, going through high school and college, again and again, to feed and avoid ever making meaningful connections.

White Court Vampires are unique and very different from their more popular Red Court brethren. Free from bloodlust and able to walk in the sunlight, they live their lives almost as if they were completely human. Their only true weakness is the opposite emotion they feed on, in Samuel's case, love. If he ever were to find love—true love especially—he would be in for a world of hurt. It's a good thing true love is so hard to find!

His newest adventure is at a high school in Forks Washington, and he fully expects it to go just as the last 40 years on the run has. Feed off the lust of teenagers, live quietly, and move on after college. No worries, right?

A/N: This is a gender-bent Alternate Universe version of the Twilight books & movies with a mix of the White Court Vampires, themes, and organizations based loosely on The Dresden Files books. Not all characters will be gender-swapped, but many will be.
