Sucked into the void without warning, a handful of people from around the globe suddenly find themselves in the foreign world of Scyria, a place filled with people who can jump three times their height, conjure fire from thin air, and perform any number of other inhuman feats. Scattered across the realm and armed with newfound powers far greater than those of the native Scyrians, they each struggle to find their path in this unfamiliar reality. Their unforeseen arrival sends tremors throughout the world, toppling a centuries-long age of relative peace, prosperity, and progress as they each leave their mark on the world in their own ways.
But Scyria has its own share of intrigue, even without these unwelcome guests. A major metropolis is wiped from existence out of nowhere, triggering a manhunt across the continent for those deemed responsible. Two feuding nations decide to bring their hostilities to a new level. Blades clash, nations fall, and plots years in the making begin to reveal themselves.
This is the story of some unwilling trespassers, taken from their lives against their will and thrown into situations they barely understand. This is the story of some unfortunate Scyrians, their lives blown apart by the newcomers’ sudden and destabilizing existence. This is the story of Scyria, a world with a lost past buried beneath millenia. But as both the Earthlings and Scyrians are about to find out, sometimes the past doesn’t stay buried forever...

Each chapter is lengthy yet it feels rushed. Here's how I see the first five chapters, Blake got in a fight with boss, drive back home, mom, white castle, transmigrate, walk in a forest, found a trail, found a village, dilemma occurred, accidentally kill voice, run away and got caught. Everything happens so fast. For example, he barely stay in the village but he feels it's his duty to set everything right, completely forgetting his first goal to secure food or water. He doesn't have a single connection with them, a completely stranger, but out of pity (and because the other party is much fatter than others) he questioned Voice who he should've know to be the higher up of that place. He doesn't even know the cloth he wear is the symbol of rich. So, why he dare to go against Voice? The tendency he have to go against his boss in previous world you say? I don't think he's even like that. He got away acting like that before because he know he's crucial to the company, a skilled worker. But in this new world, he's nothing. If anything the like, he's the type of person you'll see running outside first when the toaster let out a smoke. He's righteous? Judging by how he treats his boss, co-worker or mom, quite doubtful. It's as if his character took a complete turn the moment he arrived at the village. Being righteous idiot doesn't justify why, it needs a proper reason.

A very good story from royalroad, also on scribblehub.
One of the best qualities of this story is just the writing, and it is seriously well written.
Not only that, but theres a actual interesting world all built up, the differences between it and Earth, the ecology, the nations in the world and especially the powers and the different kinds of powers one can have.
But the thing where this story does truly excel are its characters. There are a lot of actual characters that you can feel with, and every new perspective switch does reveal a LOT of suprising information. None of the characters are actually perfect, they have a quite large amount of flaws, but that makes me like them even more
.A problem could be through that the first character shown in the story is one of the most likeable, and that the pov switch can turn some people off. I seen zero problems with grammar, which says much about the author and the editor, keep it on!
So overall, id recommend to read this story, and atleast keep trying even if you reach a point you do not like, it will improve.

Extremely underrated! I made an account just to give five stars because this is one of the best novels on this site.
Small spoiler about POVS below
Despite what some people say the multiple POVS they actually make the book much better because they all come together.

I am reviewing for the sole reason that I think the story is under appreciated.

I like this story.
I like the characters.
I like the writing style.
The beginning of the story, when it is only about Blake, sets the mood very well for the stories of the other characters. We see a man who wishes to help other people and change things, even if it is slightly for his own satisfaction, slowly break under the weight of the world, and change into a new man. There is no happy ending waiting for everyone at the end of the rainbow. People will die, and the world will move on.
