This is a wonderful exploration of a fantasy world doomed to follow our real worlds events, with many interesting, deep, and nuanced characters thrust into fates only that can only be described as 'Meant for them'. The themes and characters are explored beautifully and I cant wait to read more from this very talented author!

An absolutely heartbreaking take on loss and grief built around a fascinating cast of characters. Cracked Gemstones is the story of a troubled detective searching for a missing person whose path crosses with that of an anthro boy trying to find his place in the world. When their paths cross with a larger-than-life CEO, they're dragged into a mystifying series of twists and turns that is as intriguing as it is devastating. Each character feels like they belong in this larger world, and the book does a wonderful job of exploring it's themes through Arti and Jackie's impacts on those around them.
