Fame! Fortune! Powers! You name it, Metas can have it in less than what it takes you to spell their name. You just need a System and bam! You're swinging sky-crappers around and kicking villain (or Hero) asses, with the medias licking your boots and your excessively cringeful name going down on history, for better or for worse.
Oh, but there's a catch. You have to be the lucky one in two thousand.
Lawrence is as far from lucky as one can be. He's no Meta. He can't spit freezing fire from his mouth, summon adorable monstrosities or make people hallucinate with his eyes. His boring life is as uneventful as it could be, and he is perfectly fine with it. He couldn't care less about the world of superpowers, as long as it stay away from his life...
But of course, that's not going to happen.

BE WARNED!!!
This is a parody on the supervillain sub-genre, with a lot of dad jokes, bad puns and a knack for ridiculousness. So expect lots of that. Oh, and cookies. Can't forget the cookies!
Story starts really boiling after 15-20 first chapters so stick around for that bit before judging
Current Volume: ICM 2 - How to Tame Your Minions
With 15 chapter's in the bag I believe it's certain that this novel is absolutely a gem. Having read this since the first chapter was released I could tell from the beginning that this has great potential but I wished to wait to see if the author would be able to use it. I believe they have and continue to do so with every chapter they put forth. I truly hope the author continues updating this beautiful flourishing novel and I advise anyone reading this review to at least give the novel a chance. I can almost certainly guarantee you won't regret it.

Around a 3~4 rounded Up, (Made at chapter 37, Volume 2 Chapter 8)
"I, Criminal Mastermind!" has been a good enjoyable read. A modern day LitRPG with heroes and villains, in a melding pot of chaos and wonder.
A mostly comedy story with some fun occasional action, and a fun cast of slowly expanding characters.
MC has a "pretender" powerset, basically make it seems like he is strong, so some of the story comedy is based on Misunderstandings / Overestimations. He has some other neat powers, a domino effect luck power.
I have enjoyed some of side cast, which is always a good thing for non-combatant MC in these type of stories.
The world itself isn't anything too special, but that's fine, it's a standard good settings. Plus there has been some interesting developments on the Gods side of things, which yeah, hopefully that goes well as well.
I say read Volume 1, chapters 1~27, gives a good introduction to what they of story this will be.
But overall I liked it. Around a 3~4 stars for me (3 is a good rating for me), but it has potenial and what is here has been good, so 4 it is! Have a fun day reading everyone.
