How do you fight a hole that ate the world?

That was the question John was forced to answer when he was pulled away from Earth and thrown into the last remnants of the tower of excellence.

To grow stronger, perhaps? But definitely against his will.

He would rather spend an evening in the pub berating his boss with his coworkers than spend his days and nights killing monsters. Yet, here he was doing exactly that. Against his will for sure, but not without intent.
