    Status: chapter 55

The first 36 chapters are boring. They are wordy, without any serious conflicts, at most some conflicts that matter so little that they are almost instantly resolved. After that the story improves significantly. The harem, stuff is absurd, yeah who does not want to be that guy all girls are falling for, but it is seriously absurd, how the MC collects potential wives, that confess him their love like other people make friends. I mean some of them did not even meet him 5 times before saying, that they want to marry him. The character development is almost nonexistent. Yeah, the MC goes from poor and uneducated to wealthy, educated and strong, but does not really change as a person. You could say that he gets more open to s*x, but I do not know, if that can be counted as character development. In conclusion I would recommend to read something else.

Outstanding story. Yes, the title is Zero to Hero, but unlike many stories containing cheats and fortunate happenings that take the Zero to Hero in no time at all, here it is 22 chapters in and he has only gone from1025 out of 1025 to 888 in his classes. Yeah he has 4 girls that like him, 5 if you count his fellow orphan 'sibling'. He is still very much a normal guy working hard to climb up in the world. Read this for a good story with a feeling of realism.
