I died, I suppose. And now, I am in hell, living a second life as one of the demons.

Or that is what it seems has happened, anyway. The dark elves are a subterranean race, who have a dark ritual in which one of their children have their soul spliced and merged together in a Frankenstein manner with the powerful earth-elemental spirits known as gnomes. I was one such child, and I was born in this life retaining the memories of both my previous lives.

And now I must survive in this hell in which my entire society expects me, a normal teen boy in my previous life and a lowly gnome wandering the Agarath in my other, to be some form of slaughtering warrior for their dark and war-crazed society.

In this hopeless situation, the only ray of light that shines is the promise. There are others like me. I am not the only one who retained memories of my previous life on Earth, and I must find them so I can escape this dark fate.

This is a parallel series to my Key to the Void series. You do not need to read Key to the Void to follow this series, but they do take place in the same world and at the same time period, and reading both series will help the reader have a more complete understanding of the bigger picture behind the scenes that is unfolding between the two stories.

TL;DR The central plot of either series can be easily enjoyed alone, but those who want to dig deep into the lore should absolutely read both.
