Xiang Chen somehow won a prize to beta test a new virtual gaming device called the Mirage VGD, made by the gaming tech giant company Techno. To properly test out the Mirage VGD, they request Xiang Chen and five other beta testers to play through the first game developed by Techno specifically for it. The virtual game called Five Tales of Terror is a horror genre first person survival-type game, catching Xiang Chen's interest.

I really love this story. The way the plot is playing out is really good. The only thing I am sad about is that the last time this was updated was the year 2020. It's now 2023 almost 2024 and there have not been any new chapters. Is this discontinued or on hiatus?

A pretty good time-filler! It's not complex but it is nice and easy to read. The grammar is very good! The style is a tiny bit bland but occasionally there are some treats to read. It's too early to tell how well the romance will pan out, as well as how certain characters will continue to interact with our MC once a certain event is over. The mysteries so far tend to be single or double step deduction processes, so there aren't any crazy Lelouch type plots to uncover if your main kick is for the horror/mystery.

Sometimes you just want something light and easy to read, but still get those happy endorphins from BL. It's looking like this will be a capable way to get your fix! I sincerely hope the author will continue to write :)
