This story is developing pretty well, I'm definitely bookmarking it. However I have two gripes with it. The story is supposed to be set far into the future in alternative universe where we have already colonized many different worlds and have developed many advanced technologies. With that in mind the constant use of pop culture references is jarring and has no place in this setting it would be like someone today constantly quoting references from ancient Greece, Rome ECT. And everyone getting them. The other thing is that technology too underdeveloped for the setting. As I said its set far into the future where man has colonized many worlds but aside from a few things the tech they use is not out of place today, in fact its even worse in some cases.

    Wheeew okay, here's the tea

First few chapters are a majorrr turn off because author starts info dumping on topics that have a large impact on the story but not relevant in the early stages or maybe not really needed anymore because the reader gets the gist of the first few lines. Some scenes are forced and awkward, which I only got to appreciate when it's discussed again during times, you wouldn't really discuss about. Additionally, I got a bit peeved when I get assured that they'll be the start of something new for the future or the overly idealistic views of growth and self discovery (maybe the author is driving a personal message I would approve of if I wasn't pessimistic) yadda yadda cuz obviously he's the main character. So it took me the better half of the day to read through.

    BUT!

Guys it gets better. Don't worry the plot gets wayyy better, writing improves a bit and I am now enjoying the story and Drew's progress and slightlyy angstly revenge. I'm surprisingly happy to read Heir de Winter which is a bad ass name.

Edit: f**k im craving smt like Heir de Winter cuz its kinda original for me

This novel had been really inconsistent in updating, grammar, and plot. But all of this has been nullified by the last three chapters. My opinion on this novel has rapidly changed and I cant wait to see where it can go! Congratulations to the author for making such a nice story.  (Sidenote: I hope that Elias and Wan can get together soon, and Aaron's current relationship with Sylvia feels forced.)

I love how solid this story actually is. While yes it's got its holes for a non-professional story its probably one of the best I've seen. I constantly come across stories that are good or ok but I would say you made this one of my top 5
