The story is great. Yes. Absolutely captivating.
But up to this point? Too dark for my tastes. Too... Realistic, for lack of a better word. With too Manny assholes to go around. But that's humanity for you. With super powers. And magic. Yeah.I guess my expectations were just different. With genres like "comedy", "adventure" and "fantasy". Add to that a description like "Will she embrace her legacy and rise to the occasion, or will she succumb to the allure of a life of leisure" and I expected a much more happy story.

I like the premise, that of someone that wants to be lazy, not a superhero, and the first few chapters were surprisingly good. The comedy had some nice hits, and the comedic undertone somehow managed to elevate and bring the story down at the same.
It's a shame the MC does all she can, both knowingly and unknowingly, to not achieve her supposed goal. I'm all for her doing stupid things with a twisted/incorrect view on how should help, only for it to blow up comedically, or being so oblivious to how she naturally acts that, despite actively being lazy when possible, it's twisted into her being a model student, but this is like an odd mixture of the two and neither at the same time. She is praised for standing around, when I have no idea why she did so, and the one time she tells someone she doesn't want to be a Superhero they believe it's a joke and it never gets brought up ever again. I had planned on giving it some more chapters, but the pacing left the building right after.
Still, the straw the broke the camels back, was when the self aware system was introduced and the mentioning of Gods made it apparent that, despite not having the Gods tag, Gods would be be showing up in this story. With that my suspension of disbelief was broken.

This book could be so fantastic if it wasn't for the grammar errors being all over the place, the narrative flow being a bit wonky, and the characters all sounding the same. I can't put up with it any longer. Its okay, though, the story's got a solid premise and tons of potential—just needs a little tweaking on those three fronts.
