Despite her desire to be close to others, a young wolf struggles to understand the intricacies of interpersonal connections, feeling isolated from friends and family alike. In a moment of revelation, she feels she recognizes the same sense of loneliness in the moon itself. She vows to dedicate her life to finding a way to reach the moon, in the hopes that then she'll understand how to reach everyone else--but as she comes to realize that the others around her don't relate to her goals, she begins to wonder if she's only alienating herself even further.
