"The person coming is The White Flame Dancing on the Barrows of his Enemies, the Emperor of the Nilfgaard Empire—Emhyr var Emreis."
Listening to the herald's voice, Emperor Emhyr at the bottom of the steps looked at the man sitting on the throne - and his daughter sitting next to him - and couldn't figure out how much he had gone through in these short ten years. , how did this guy change from a lost dog who lost his country to what he is today?
At this time, the herald’s voice sounded again:
"Before you are - the Lion King of Cintra, the Heir to the Ancient Blood, the Dragon Slayer, the Sword of the Dawn, the Gryphon Knight of the Lady of the Lake, the Monster Bane, the Mentor of the Order of Witchers, the Witcher Lifelong Counselor of the Brotherhood of Sorcerers, Archon of Novigrad, Sage of Oxenfurt Academy, Breaker of Slave Chains, Frostbreaker, Redeemer... - His Majesty Lann Lannister Riannon!"

This is a translation of a Chinese Novel, with minor changes in some parts of the original story. I don't own the picture in the novel cover.
I wasn't going to read this at first because the description seems to paint an overpowered and narcissistic protagonist. But I'm so happy I'm wrong. I love this. There is a serious lack of Witcher fan fiction and I think the reason for that is because of how gritty and grounded the world is. It's a very challenging scenario in which a writer's skill has to do a lot of heavy lifting.
Our MC is chivalrous clever and logical. I have to caveat that because it's like these traits always come with baggage right? If a character is chivalrous then they must be a pushover. If they are clever then they must be obnoxiously sarcastic. If they are logical, then they must be inflexible. None of that baggage is here.
Our protagonist, Lann, starts already a year into his transmigration. An orphaned noble, nephew of Queen Calanthe of Cintra. The Nilfgaardian attack isn't far away timeline wise. He's stronger than his peers in one on one combat. Guaranteed to die against anything stronger than a Drowner. If faced with more than 3, it's unlikely he can do anything but run. There isn't a cameo round table where suddenly every major character appears and vows to slap his face. The timeline doesn't deviate too much from butterfly effect stuff. In fact it seems to correct itself. Like it's fate or something. He has a system, as in a not talking, very minimal system. Much of it is locked and even now we only just start to see how powerful it could be. Lann states a few times that he could become invincible. This is certainly untrue.
There's a skill he unlocks that reduces damage when dodging. It is upgraded to 100% damage reduction. But even after that he still gets wrecked. After all, how many times in a row can you dodge without any window of downtime? Can you roll as a ball forever? Also while he isn't damaged, his gear is.
I added all that context because I wish I knew what kind of story this was ahead of time. The description really did put me off for legit months before I gave it a try. As of writing this it also lacks tags making it even more difficult to figure what this story is.
It's an isekai about surviving the timeline of the Witcher. It's not as gritty and down to earth as The Divine Hunter. But it has it's own charm for sure and I'm super excited to see where it goes.

The rhythm of the story is very pleasant to me and I liked the way you write; The MC seems like a really charismatic ikemen and is not simply exalted all the time for his beauty and status like those insufferable young masters in xianxia and wuxia novels; I watched the TV series and some gameplay of The Witcher, but I don't really know the lore, so I can't speak about the fidelity of the facts, but in general it seems to be very pleasant; Finally, this is another criticism generated by my personal taste, but the formatting style really doesn't please me, the words spaced out from each other gives an anti-organic appearance and breaks the emotion a little, but that doesn't exactly influence the quality of the writing in itself. Overall, 4, 8~9/05
I would like to point out that I am not a professional critic and this is ONLY my opinion.

This is readable.
Rough start due, and weird style that's maybe from the translation.
Becomes better later, or less messy. I would recommend trying it if you want something for a day.
I would compare it to a child telling a story. Just that it is understandable, linear, and clear.
Truly. It is weird in the first few chapters, But the main problem is flashbacks and maybe half braking the fourth wall that might just be the narrator talking to the MC, or even the MC talking to himself.
Again, it becomes better later. I would recommend to try it.
I would give this 4/5 stars, or even 3/5 stars based on the start, but this is readable and sort of interesting.
It has only happened one time that the story began to drag and I started to skim, which did nothing negative for my experience after that part.
