It's weird. This is everything I could have wanted from a HP FF but the lacking grammar and pacing make it seem boring.
I mean like come on! He's supposed to be a badass criminal overlord but instead we're in a classroom, chasing around Lockhart and teaching young kids.
This is basically the equivalent of the Avengers but instead of saving the world from mad alien overlords and AI invasions, Thor and Iron man run around helping grandmas across the streets and stopping store robberies. Just like, why?
So yeah. Probably my fault but I came into this expecting something like "The Academy's undercover professor" with the MC being a criminal overlord and having to skillfully maneuver through the Wizarding word to avoid trouble, but it's nothing like that. It's just a guy watching children or speaking to them.

Super interesting exploration of the HP world from a perspective unusual for fanfic
Negatives include
- inconsistent grammar
- no emotion at all a stone wall has more (im on mobile idk wtf I just did)
-literally 0 tension
- the xianxa virus (Chinese logic n poop)
-MC has no character, 100+ chapters in and I understand the MC is just as developed as he was at chapter 0
- bad reading experience :
You need to read at a snails pace or re-read sh*t unless you want to be constantly lost -> Perspective shifts are unmarked, time skips are unmarked, etc. &Nbsp;
::Conclusion::
A really promising story lost in translation (not a dig at translator)

Decent plot with natural characters and organic reactions. MC is a bit on Overpowered side, but acts carefully. Worth reading. If you have read 'Certain Ancient Rune Professor', this story resembles it.

One of the few good fanfics out there, although the pacing is pretty slow (it's not really a problem for me), sometimes the chapters are inconsistent (but rarely) and of course some other small issues like grammar errors. But I think it's still a pretty good book. The plot is very nice and author's way of introducing new things to the original storyline is really great. I honestly hope that author won't drop this cuz it really can be treated as a hidden gem.
Honestly I liked it so much that I created an account on this site to write this review.

A good story, interesting and competent MC if a bit lonesome. Character interactions are alright, though plot feels a bit slow due his lack of progress on a certain issue despite how frequently its brought up..
Transitions could use some work. A bit disorienting shifting PoV, time, or both without a break.
Sometimes Dialogue could use some work. Its said its inspired by a CN. You could definitely feel it in some of the conversations and internal dialogue which make it feel rather rigid and out of place for the characters, but most of the time its alright.

This is one of those stories that are well written and entertaining, with a decent plot and good pacing.
Unfortunately it just doesn't click with me. After 25 chapters, which were very nice to read, I just can't love it. I like the story, I like the character, I like the plot, I like everything about, But it just doesn't grab me.
I do heartily recommend it, if it speaks to you, you'll love it. 5 Stars

One of the best harry potter fanfictions I've read in terms of world building and plot development. Nothing is really out of place to occur in Harry Potter. Though the author does take liberties expanding on the lore as this is his own novel.
MC is pretty op and close to the power level of Dumbledore. He does grow more in power as the story progresses as he was like the tier below Dumbledore at the start of the novel.
Pretty much read this novel if you want to read an expanded view on Harry Potter with an OC inserted that makes sense.
Interactions between characters does feel a bit detached though this is the only flaw I've noticed through the novel. For example, I can't tell how much a character cares for another easily as we only get into the minds of characters for a little bit in certain scenes. Snape for example in this novel has a close relationship with Bryan (MC) but you can only notice this through their familiarity with each other and the dialogue that states that Snape was the head of house when Bryan was in Hogwarts.
That's why I'm giving this a four star as its close to perfection, but not quite. Still that makes it peak among Harry Potter fanfictions in my opinion. :D
