It had been 6 years since Elyssia had started her Pokémon journey. She had experienced a lot on her travels, having battled strong opponents, seen the beauty of the world and the Pokémon that inhabit it, survived the wilds, and had fought bloody battles with terrorist organisations that lurk in the shadows of each region. She had achieved fame and glory and now she was finally returning home to Kalos.

The next Kalos League Circuit was soon approaching, and it was time for her to make her challenge, while the terrorist organisation, Team Flare, starts to cause trouble.

A/N
Well, a little more info about this fic. This is based on the anime, with some elements of the core game series added in, all wrapped up together by a strong dose of reality. This will sort of follow the events of the Pokémon XY series, however, unlike many other fics, it wont be a copy and paste of the anime, and will pretty much go off the rails immediately.

As for the MC, she is a powerful trainer. She is not a Mary Sue, and she has not had everything handed to her, she worked for it. Her backstory is long and complex, with its own twists and challenges that will be slowly revealed as the story progresses.

Anyway, I wont say any more than that, spoilers after all, but there are some hints through the chapters as well as in the tags.
