One day in the six-faced world, a newborn child, completely conscious of his surroundings, is taken in by a certain party of adventurers… the Fangs of the Black Wolf.
But not two years later, the party splits, and our main character, Leon, is greeted with the pleasant surprise of a younger brother, in the form of Rudeus Greyrat.
As Leon discovers more of the world and increases his strength to stave off any danger he could encounter, he comes to realize that in this world, and in his life, there is one thing he holds dear above all… family.
Arcs are released in batches.
Relationships (Spoilers):
OC - Leon x Eris, Sylphy, Roxy, Ariel
Rudeus x Sara, Linia, Nanahoshi
Do not listen to DraculaSwift. How immature and impulsive can you be to write a one star review after reading just the first chapter. The story is written extremely well with no grammar mistakes, at least none I noticed. The character development and designs are well stated and easy to picture. There are people complaining about the ff following og plot but it's the author's choice and there are clear differences with the og plot. I don't want to spoil or anything, so I'll just end this by saying this is by far the best mushoku fic I've read and I highly recommend to give this ff a chance. A chance of more than 1 fking chapter.

This is why I hate these kinds of novels: losing past-life memories and killing off the family so the main character doesn't have any responsibility. They can't write about how to love their family. It's stupid. And then, killing off the mother so he can be with the family of Rudeus? That's so foolish. I don't like it at all

Simply perfect!
With its amazing original start with subtly changes in the canon to give way to a very interesting story with good development of the characters, which I especially loved being the family and the few parts of romance, as well as no hesitation in making use of characters that only appeared quite later in the original work.
The MC is strong but not a living cheat like Rudeus, with his seemly unlimited amount of mana except for when facing god-ranked powerhouses. The growth is nice to read and quite fair and well explained while also detailing the rest of the relevant character's growth in power.
I laughed a lot and even cried a few times already, so I can't help but want to see this to the end.

one of the better mushoku tensei fanfic around. The pace and the storytelling is not one bit inferior to the original novel, some might even say it's better because OC is not one dimensional like rudeus is. One flaw is really bug me off which other reviewer already said is that the author killing off OC mother as passing moments just for the sake of making OC to become zenith son is a bit excessive and left some bad taste in my mind. It's deeply regrettable but also understandable. Well no story is perfect without a fault, so this minor annoyance is something I can endure tho some people might hate heavy handed plot like that. If you can pass that moment tho, the rest is really good. This is one of the two my favorite mushoku tensei fic i've read

The absolute best mushoko tensei fic around holy f**k. I'll even admit that its contender for one of best FICS I've ever read. God damn, the author outdid himself with this.
Story: The first 25 chapters closely follow the original piece with a few differences here and there mainly due to Leon's existence. However, these minor differences have then snowballed into a relatively unique and extremely enjoyable story, a perfect example of the butterfly effect. Although Arc 5 was a bit slow, mainly because of the slice of life chapters, the Arc ended with an absolute bang. I regret not waiting for Arc 6 before binging because of how epic the arc ended. I have high hopes for the future of this story. It may not be perfect, but this is close to being one, especially in the context of a mushoku tensei fic.
Characters: The author portrays the original fic's characters in the story skillfully. Our protagonist, Leon, was written nicely, especially in the earlier chapters. His mother's death at chapter 1 set the framework for his devotion to his family, an integral part of his character. This is the main reason why I disagree with DraculaSwift's review.
Grammer: The author's writing style is very fluid. He knows exactly how things should be written and what words to use to portray his narrative. A few spellings mistakes were made but it's minimal.
I recommend everyone to read the fanfic. You don't need to be familiar with original piece to enjoy it. It's perfectly fine to read this even if you have minimal knowledge, it doesn't make the fic less enjoyable.

This story is fantastic and super well done. Though forewarning the MC is adopted by the greyrats and the tragedy that occurs to create that situation is really sad, I cried a bit. But it is handled well, and not just forced for drama then ignored, it has an actual affect on the MC and is well written. Past that the fic is really good. Combat is great, pacing is great, its all in all well done. My only complaint is that so far its followed canon a bit too closley, but im hopeful that will change in the upcoming chapters

I love when someone understand exactly what makes a story good and uses that perfectly. This is an amazing fanfic and to me even better than the original.

The story is spectacular, but does anyone know if the harem is made up of the same three that were Rudeus' or are there going to be more? Because I would have preferred to have other members of the harem instead of the three.
But those are my preferences, the story is amazing

Ifyou have read Jobless Reincarnation or the Vain version you will like this reimagining. It hits all the pints of Vainglories rework, while improving in every thing Vain did. The power scaling is smoother, the development is more logical, the interactions are more believable. Leon feels deserving of everything he gets, while removing much of the suffering of Rudeus story and the extreme perversion. Still read Vain's story though as it has its own details that are good!
