To escape a life of poverty, Daisuke attempted to hack the world’s first VRMMORPG, Sehreneti Online. But things take an unexpected turn and he's transmigrated into the body of a newborn NPC—stranded in one of the most lawless, cutthroat regions of the game where ambition and cruelty reign.

The book is very well-written and tends to get you fully-immersed in the story, which unfortunately kinda exacerbates people's dislike of the story because of how the MC suffers in the beginning. However, it gets better later on as the MC unlocks his power and meets other characters. Don't listen to the haters author-san. You've obviously put a lot of effort into writing this.

A diamond in the rough.
This series has a slower start than the average cookie-cutter isekai, but that makes it more realistic. When the MC finally awakens his abilities after all the crap he went through, you get a bigger dopamine hit as a reader. After the countdown ends, the story becomes addictive and you start to realize why he had to suffer the way he did. I'm happy I stuck around to see how everything unfolded. It's getting even more exciting!

A relatively unique story, but the execution of a fairly mediocre power fantasy with the markings of a generic harem, even if harem is apparently not planned.
It starts as a dark story with powerless MC, but makes a complete 180 turn into OP MC some 30-40 chapters in. Every encounter since then, no matter how strong his enemies are, are nothing more than stepping stones for him - he always pulls through with little trouble.
Every other female seems to be in this story just to be a potential love interest, gushing over the MC, or in one case of a seemingly significantly older receptionist, openly lusting over the 12 year old MC (considered adult for the game world... which would actually open the game to laws against pedophilia in any remotely decent country now that I think about it).

Another story that tries to be mature by being unnecessarily dark instead, all while the characters are so irrational and dull you can't care about them in the first place.
