After twenty-five years of preparation, the light-wings descended and the sky turned dark for a moment. Learning of the sorcerers' next target, the gods spoke to the pantheon of Aelna and came to the conclusion that the AI will be sent there to slay them once and for all. This new world had fantastical beasts, powerful magic and a wide variety of cultures and nations. It would have made peaceful relations with the rest of the nations, warned them about the threat and prepared alongside them for the final fight.

Of course, this didn't happen. In a legendary display of Murphy's Law, the summoning process goes horrifically wrong.
