But his life took an unexpected curve when Death saved him from the verge of end, sparing him at the altar of judgement at Purgatory.

But Death wants the favor to be returned.

It was then that Death decided to have Damian Stein as his executioner of evil. In exchange of Damian's services, Death promised to unveil his true destiny, and as he sieve through his path, his hidden past is sewn piece by piece. Is he really just a hitman? Or there's something more from his existence? Is that the reason why Death made him his trump card?

In a dropship that got shot down, an injured android crawls out of the ashes to find himself surrounded by the wreckage and remains of his fallen comrades and squadmates. His underlying will to survive is challenged by his injuries and his logical understanding of his purpose, as he faces the choice between letting himself die or finding the will to live. (That's what I have so far)

This story was based on my extreme love for anything sci-fi-related. If this gets even a tiny amount of interest, then I'll consider taking the general synopsis and turning it into an actual book. I would appreciate getting any type of feedback, whether good or bad -- and if there are any grammar mistakes, please feel free to point them out.

Update #1 (6/30/21) - I put quotations around "short-story", as it is a little long. It's probably going to separate into 3 parts (or chapters), and for now, I'm going to put in the first part and see what kind of feedback I get. Hope you guys like it. "Well there only ten living beings living here and only one of them is human, four prefer to sleep out in the open, outside the gate while three sleep on the floor and one likes to sleep on the counter and one of them likes to perch themselves at a higher place, and seeing how big that place is." I pointed towards the door connecting the mansion to my house. "Living in such a big place alone would give me nightmares so, here is better."

"What about ths rest of the questions?" She asked me again.

"Well." I spoke as I gulped down a glass water myself. "I am looking for those answers as well."

The World was about to be destroyed. There were political drama, protests, wars and on top of that an Asteroid was headed for the planet. What was worse news than this? Well for Dawe 'Joey' Anluan who lost his whole family a while ago this was nothing. The only thing he wanted was to get back with his family which would be fullfilled with the Asteroid approaching. But even that wish was not fulfilled when he saw a hole in front of his house right before the Asteroid neared the planet and next thing he knows is that he and his house is not where it was and there are giant trees around him.

It's been two years since the surrender of the Third Reich in Europe, and the United States had sent an expedition to what was previously claimed by the German's as New Swabia. The first time during Operation Nanook in 1946, they found nothing out of the ordinary and left soon after, claiming that their 'research goals' had been accomplished and they had no reason to stay. The second expedition came a few months after with an entire task force of ships from aircraft carriers to destroyers. Unbeknownst to the public who thought they were going to Little America, they were actually headed to the supposed site of a secret German base for arctic and weapons research. What a small expedition team found shocked them, a research facility frozen in time, seemingly left perfectly as it was in 1945 when the surrender happened. A Haunebu flying saucer hung from the ceiling, left there either on purpose or one which had been too damaged to fly. The truth was that all the research had been moved to a base further south, hidden underneath snow, ice and rock. However, this team never made it back, they had been caught and captured by a detachment of grenadiers from the unknown Bunker Complex Ritscherberg. This team going missing was enough to spur the Navy (and Marine Corps) to set up a base which was named Big America.

Ritscherberg, which was previously just a small research base during the original New Swabia, had grown into a thriving city underground. They had heard news of the surrender and were aware of their mission: Hold out as long as possible and keep the Reich alive. This brings us to the barracks of Ritscherburg where Lilly Rohrbach is on her way home from teaching class. Lilly was almost back to her barracks when she is stopped by Standartenfuhrer Manfred Adler with an interesting proposition. Rumors about the SS on the 31st floor had been spread from the day that she had gotten there. Will the horrific stories of the SS told by inhabitants of the bunker turn out to be spooky stories meant to scare the children, or will they turn out to be real?
