They are a species that is far from perfect...It is like humans are a part of both Angels and Demons, as they do 'good' and 'bad', both 'right' and 'wrong'.
Is it that Angels and Demons evolved from humans or the opposite?
Is it that Angels founded their rules upon the humans life experiences, like maybe the Demons as well?
How did it start that Angels and Demons might have known of what is 'good' and... more>> what is 'bad'?
Perhaps...Perhaps humans played a big role when it came to that of heaven and hell, Angels and Demons...

This story starts with Leon Dagmen realizing that he had used to be an Angel and had also been a human once before. He puts his experiences into question, wanting to know what it is to exist. Firstly, Gan Qingqing never sleeps well.
Secondly, Gan Qingqing fell into a coma and has not awoken!
Thirdly, the piano plays on its own even when it is not plugged in to power!!
Ah, scary!

In reality, Gan Qingqing was irresponsibly composing music at all hours of the day and without proper sleep, eventually collapsed. As for the second and third point? Qingqing woke up to find herself out of her body and is now crying shamefully in the digital piano.

"Hey, get out of there, Gan Qingqing." His tired face is crumpled in a sour expression.

"You're so noisy crying in there. Come here instead." He opens his arms.

When Kazuma learned that his bestfriend was the victim, he was very angry to the point that when he catches the culprit, he will kill it.

But when he and his team went to the crime scene, a headache hits him and suddenly, he remembered what happen.

The truth is he, Tsukihara Kazuma, is the murderer.

After this realization, he surrenders to the authority.

After 2 weeks, at the court, where the judges give punishment to Kazuma, is being held. Here the judge questions Kazuma on what is his motive and reasons that he killed his bestfriend. But Kazuma, in the state of confusion and regret, don't know.

Suddenly, an idea popped on his head and ask the judge to give him a chance to investigate and learn the reason why he killed his bestfriend. The judge agrees, as he knows that it would be a big loss when they lost Kazuma, but Kazuma should have a partner that will help him in this case named "Black Fragment".

Here comes Nakamura Sakura, known as the 2nd best detective after Kazuma. She was assigned as Kazuma's partner regarding this case.

Together, they will find the cause of the "Black Fragment".

This starts out pretty much modern day though no dates are mentioned. It will avoid politics and current events outside of framing or generic plot moving. The world starts out pretty much now but is going to go downhill over time. While not intended to be grim-dark this will be an apocalypse so the world will suffer as a whole.

I am aiming for a slow burn progression type story so don't expect the world to end tomorrow in this one. Then again this is all new to me so not sure how well I can pace it.

This is my first go at writing. I am using litrpg and dungeon core type mechanics as a framework but it won't lean on them too hard or be stat heavy. it will be more of a guideline to move things along and provide a sort of logic to it all.

The first chapter took way more work than I thought it would so no idea what kind of schedule I can keep. I am ultimately aiming for 3-5 a week though. Any suggestions, critiques, etc are welcome as I know little about writing and nothing about publishing online.
