However, the worker allowed him the chance to go back down to Earth as a spirit to find out who have caused his death, but there is one requirement to this though. The mafia boss is only a spirit now, so he can easily go anywhere he wants and not get spotted by anyone at all. However, other than the man that he is supposed to work with in order to investigate his death, no one else can hear or see him at all. Therefore, he cannot communicate with anyone else, due to him being a spirit only. He would need the man's help on his investigation about his death, due to the man being able to talk with people and communicate with them in order to obtain information about his death.

The mafia boss and the man would have to work together by using each others' unique abilities; in order to help the mafia figure out how he have died.

However, would the man be willing to help out someone who have killed his whole entire family in the past? <<less

But when he and his team went to the crime scene, a headache hits him and suddenly, he remembered what happen.

The truth is he, Tsukihara Kazuma, is the murderer.

After this realization, he surrenders to the authority.

After 2 weeks, at the court, where the judges give punishment to Kazuma, is being held. Here the judge questions Kazuma on what is his motive and reasons that he killed his bestfriend. But Kazuma, in the state of confusion and regret, don't know.

Suddenly, an idea popped on his head and ask the judge to give him a chance to investigate and learn the reason why he killed his bestfriend. The judge agrees, as he knows that it would be a big loss when they lost Kazuma, but Kazuma should have a partner that will help him in this case named "Black Fragment".

Here comes Nakamura Sakura, known as the 2nd best detective after Kazuma. She was assigned as Kazuma's partner regarding this case.

Together, they will find the cause of the "Black Fragment".
