Teenage supervillain Shudder was once the assistant to would-be world conqueror Dr. Tlön. However, in the two years since her mentor's arrest she's been reduced to a low-level freelance criminal, a small fish in an ocean of alien mercenaries, secretive syndicates, and superhumans with the power to crumble buildings in seconds. Her directionless, apathetic life is shaken when the shadow of Dr. Tlön's mind-altering technology reappears. With no one willing to listen to her, and only a minor psychic power to help, Shudder must investigate whether someone else is building a global-scale mind control device.
This story was so good once I picked it up I didn’t stop reading. The writing is good and all the characters are relatable, which makes the additional exploration of their morality/ethics more enjoyable. &Nbsp; 10/10!
