An emotionally distraught, affection starved, partially amnesiac angel who's been stuck inside a featureless white void for at least 1500 years.

Although she's that old, due to her lack of contact with living beings- or anything at all really- she has the emotional stability of wet tissue paper, the mental fortitude of a twelve-year-old, and the mentality of a child.

Her remaining knowledge of the world is almost exclusively related to it's religions- most of which no longer exist- with the one notable exception being hair styling of all things.

"P-people assume that m-my skin is pale b-because I don't get much sunlight, but I-I'm pretty sure i-it's just like this n-normally..."

A seventeen-year-old with a- to be frank- unhealthy obsession with being an adventurer. It's long since gone past the point of simple chuunibyou, and now it's reached damn near self-endangerment. Her obsession has led her to be the youngest A-Ranked Adventurer in her town.

She knows all the tropes and will point them out if and when they show up in the wild. This has lead to most people not really wanting to talk to her for an extended period of time.

While it may seem like she's oblivious to everyone's opinion of her, Azrael is actually quite good at reading emotions. Problem is, she has to READ them, meaning she must actively try to figure out what the person in question is thinking.

Her ultimate goal is to create a museum of assorted artifacts.

"Did you know that the average person eats five spiders per night while asleep? No? Good, because those statistics were innacurate. Isaac is a statistical outlier and should not have been included. I mean, the guy acts like a bloodhound the moment he conks out. I have heard him digging into the walls. I have heard the crunching of spider flesh. Think I'm exaggerating? Consider the fact that this survey was performed on one hundred people. The average was calculated by adding up all of the counts, then dividing the result by one hundred. Literally nobody besides Isaac was found to have eaten spiders. This means that Isaac eats 500 spiders per night. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be more concerned about."

{The Urban Magician}

Alyssa is the descendant of the Great Urban Magician- not that anyone besides her family knows who that is.

She is Azrael's childhood friend.

While she is primarily an artificer, she does do magic, but it's almost exclusively enchantment.

She is deeply in love with [REDACTED].

Don't ask her to brew potions. She will throw you out.

"I've already killed you.
You just haven't realized it yet.

{Sleeping... Terror?}

 twin sister.

Kaede was originally going to sign up to be an adventurer along with her sister, but after she fell headfirst through one of the guild's walls- she was very sleepy and fell asleep while walking- she was forced to pay off her debt by being a receptionist. If she didn't keep repeating her mistakes with other parts of the guild building she would have gotten out of there sooner. (Azrael has paid off her debt multiple times. This just keeps happening.)

Despite being the only member of her family that hates physical activity, she is actually the strongest.

Kaede doesn't talk much, since she's usually half-asleep, but she's very popular with adventurers for... obvious reasons.

She has no wings.

"...hmm? Di' yuu *yawn* say som'in?"

{Fastest Man Alive}

Azrael's father. He deeply enjoys sneaking up behind people and scaring the shit out of them.

He is a crow tengu, so while he should be quite protective of something, nobody actually knows what that something is. (Pretty sure even he doesn't know.)

He is the sole employee of the entire kingdom's newspaper company. He collects, writes, prints, and delivers every single one by himself, so he often doesn't have time to spend with his daughter. He does attempt to, however.

Uraki often mentions one of his ancestors as a source of inspiration, though nobody besides other tengu actually know who they are.

His surname is highly confidential.

"'You should never pull back until the last possible second.
That's something all tengu know.'
Or, at least that's what my grandmother always said."

{S-Rank Adventurer}

Azrael's mother. Unintentional battle-maniac.

She is an oni, which means 99% of things get crushed when she touches them.

A woman of few words, almost every fight she's gotten into has been caused by a misunderstanding.

Has a very poor sense of direction

Azazel became the first S-Rank Adventurer by complete accident. She was going out to train in a forest when an army started shooting at her. The rest is history.

No matter how much you want to get rid of him, you can't because he does his job right.
