They say that one's karma is determined by one's actions.
One's destiny forged through blood, sweat and tears.
And one's fate, already predetermined. An inevitability.
But, what of karma and destiny ? Do those not matter at all at the table in front of fate ?
Every living human and creature is fated to die one day. Then, do your evils committed not matter at all ?
Going through gates of heaven, depths of hell, or the fields of Avalon. Is it your choice ?
"Such a contradictory belief." he thought often, despite not being religious.
So... was it his fate to be robbed of his life, work, and family ? His relationship wasn't the best with his family, but he did his best to slowly fill in the cracks he had made.
But that didn't matter anymore. His chances were taken.
By what ? Why ? How ?
"I... I didn't ask for any of this." he lamented, pressure in his throat welling up.
Was it his fate to die meaninglessly and wake up in this foreign, powerless body ? This body, this beauty, this world. It felt so wrong.
How was he to live ? Could he even accept this ? Will he... accept this and move on ?
