Financial analyst Martin Warner managed to royally piss off the Bryce family - not a good move, considering that they turned out to be one of the most influential families of warlocks in the world. Transformed, renamed 'Natalie', and sent to a sinister and mysterious girls' boarding school, Natalie is determined to escape and somehow return to her old life. However, Natalie soon discovers that she just might have the once-in-a-generation magical talent to turn the world of witchcraft on its head.
I read this on another site, this and the follow-up book are amazing. I also signed up to the authors' page, only 2 authors get money from me, and this is one of them.
p.s. If it looks like I rate high, I don't, I only rate what I think is worth my time.

It has reminded me of H*rr* P*tt*r but more mature including politics and being much more darker.
The characters are well defined and the development of their personality is very interesting.
Taking into account the type of novel it is and its genre has a well-deserved 5.
Warning: Before reading check the tags of the novel, it might not be of your interest

This is a well written, emotional, brilliant story that found incredibly difficult but just as incredibly rewarding to read.I would warn any new readers to be more cautious with themselves than usual whole reading this story. The first 6-8 chapters are an absolute doozy. Reading the first 6 in one sitting left me pretty emotionally distraught for a while and with a hell of a lot to process. At the same time though, there is a reason I kept going. This book does a phenomenal job at its intended goal of putting together an absolutely monstrous system and getting you to really empathize with the people who are forced to live though its horrors. I found the writing absolutely gripping and quickly found myself invested in the characters, desperate for them to succeed.5/5, absolutely one of the best things I've read here on SH.

This story is just amazing. So far, in regards to gender bender and transgender themed stories, I had read lots of works that play with my emotions: Yearning love, passion, lust, joy, sadness, anxiousness - it's all there. This here was the first one that not only made me angry on behalf of the protagonist but outright wrathful.
And yet, everything I enjoy about a good story is also there! Just. Read. It. It's amazing. It will captivate you. And if you manage to pull yourself away in between two chapters for such mundane things as sleep or work, it will let you go, though only reluctantly, and possibly steaming with anxious rage. Or with the sweet taste of revenge.
