How does it feel to have the knowledge of an advanced civilization, clearly out of your world?
Would this insight even be useful, when the people around you trusted the power of a fireball and had no idea about the power of steam?
How would you fare as a lowly slave in a society ruled by women?
Follow the steps of an urchin, swallowed by a fate that wasn’t his. A hopeless dream corrupted in the ways unknown.

This is a rational fantasy story, with a different approach to the isekai genre.
Slow progression at the beginning that will speed up as the plot progresses, building off the previous achievements.
This story contains descriptive sexual content that is relevant to the plot.

Honestly really considered dropping it those first 3 chapters, but so happy I didn't. Easily the best story I've read on here hands down. Definitely give it a shot. A genuinely intelligent MC and a realistic story (still fantasy so take that with a grain of salt) with heartwarming character. They all feel alive and distinct and really pull at my heartstrings at times.

As others have said, if you're concerned after the first few paragraphs of Chapter 1, don't worry, stick with it, you won't be disappointed.
Easily among my favourite web novels across scribblehub/lit/sol/etc. The story is creative and incredibly engaging, both the main and supporting characters have real depth, dialogue is natural and believable, the smut is well written and isn't distracting to the story in any way. Just all round, top marks.
The only negative is that I'm caught up and I can't binge chapters anymore.

Really good novel the MC has a really likeable personality he can be smart, naive, funny or dumb at the same time without breaking his "character".
the other characters too, I don't feel like they are just some random props put into the story just to give the MC some dumb reason to do this or that, the feel really humane and their dialogues and interactions with the MC are always interesting to see.
the only thing I would complain would be that the first 3 or 2 chapters were a bit confusing, but everything made more sense as the chapters went by so I don't think is really a problem.
overall a 10/10 novel

Im sorry but this novel just isnt for me. Half of the story is just a rewrite of schoolbooks and wikipedia. If I wanna relearn math or learn how to make DIY soap I would rather go back to school or go watch some youtube video. Its just so goddamn boring, why would I ever feel enjoyment from boring diy sh*t in a fantasy story full of magic and monsters? Where are the magics and spells? Where are the monsters and fantasy races? Why are half the novel chapters commonly are filled with pages straight up ripped from wikipedia? Im sorry dawg but I tried reading up till the 12 chapter but this aint it.
Edit (i read a few more chapters, then dropped it completely) :
Its also very goddamn frustrating how the MC do his darmdest to stay a slave instead of working towards his freedom. He prefers to not get paid at all (he does not want to carry any money). He is thankful for when others trade his miraculous otherworldy knowledge with the price of a single sh*tty instrument. He is content with being denied freedom by his master. He lets other take his achievement for themselves, claiming them and not MC as the inventor. He half ignore the fact that he himself and one of his lover are still s*x slaves in danger of being raped by their master husbands (the husbands are away on a trip). Like bruh wtf is this beta-cuck soy loser slave MC, he is in slave both in reality and in mentality. This is why so many others often hate slavery story, its because of plots like this.

Registered specificially to write this. This is my discovery of a year. The story is great (though there is a rough edge for me about why main slave was so arrogant at the start, where irl he would be killed immediately). Nevertheless, there are no dull moments in the narrative, the interpersonal relationships are skillfully portrayed, the world-building is truly distinctive, and the grammar and pacing are commendable. The story smells high quality, so give it a try.

This isn’t Smut. This is Erotica!
... Also has a perfect blend of Science Fiction and Fantasy because both have the same theme. What happens when the impossible becomes possible?
A must read.

Short review from me, Kingdom building is a very hard genre to tackle. It needs a lot more curiosity, knowledge, and planning from an author to actually pull through. And Wisher Beware delivers beautifully. The author, through the MC, sparkles a lot of knowledge from a wide depth of different disciplines, with a mastery of the basic concepts that give the impression of genius. And that is all that is needed. It is testament to the ludicrous amount of research work put in, and the effort to actually understand it, to often deliver it in a Socratic way. Kingdom building also needs a base, a land to develop. Emanai is at the same time, very primitive, and quite advanced as well. It is an interesting land, filled with interesting characters, allies or enemies. Conflict, to spice up the race of human history of development. But not only that, as the author also took inspiration from Sci-Fi for futuristic technologies. Which he also uses to spin the isekai formula in a neat way. Just like this story neatly completes its loop around itself. And it's only the 1st book! It's fantastic. 5 out of 5. I can't give much, but I felt that I needed to write that review to applaud the author. I'm out.
