David Williams wasn't having the best of days. Like the weather, it had been a sunny and bright morning, but now replaced by overcast clouds, and a chill in the air. Fired from his job, and hearing strange voices all day, the only solus of his day was the voice of his childhood friend and lover over the phone, who was acting strange.
Never would he have expected, that day his life would change forever. Summoned as one of a long line of Heroes to another world full of magic and danger. Magically linked to his Summoner who wasn't human. Evil lurking in the shadows. What will an average man from England do, in a world of magic, monsters, and gods?

(Note; I originally wrote this story when I first started writing seriously years ago, and was in the process of rewriting it. I have a total of three chapters and one bonus chapter complete. With a total word count of 23,761. I believe I have improved my writing skills since I edited and rewrote these chapters, and I plan on returning to this story now. I thought the best chance I'd have at continuing my first real novel, is to release the already finish chapters and see what everyone thinks? So please, let me know what you think!)
The name of this story is up in the air! I like it, I feel it is better then the original name I had. (Tellus; A Reluctant Hero) Which is better?
