Certain elements were iffy for me, but the book has very strong story elements, especially compared to other haremlit. The characters are interesting, the world is big in that though we’ve only seen a part, the foundations are laid for a potential epic. The smut is interesting, and well written. In fact I’d place it as top 2 on this site in haremlit, right up there with “Wisher Beware”. As for the particular kind of slave harem in this story... I find free will to be important to crafting an interesting story. That’s why I think that element (ironically being the element distinguishing this story from others of the like) ruins it. Or is it commentary on how the female leads in haremlit seem to lose all personality and free will once they hook up with the MC? Because that would be kind of interesting, but I don’t think that’s the case.
