Earth was ending. He tried to save it with science. She betrayed him. Together they almost started World War III.
Now their home is facing an invasion of monsters and extraterrestrial forces, but it's no longer their problem.
They're dead and soon to be reborn as monsters. Instead of saving their world, their job will be to destroy another one.
But there is something wrong with his mind, and she'll have to work hard to keep him from getting himself killed.
Oh, and the universe seems to function like a litrpg.
5 chapters a week, one every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (each minimum 1.5k)
What to expect:
- An edited story cleaned up around chapter 235 and then reposted
- 2 protagonists, leaning more toward one at the start and with more added later, but only ever one plot thread
- A power set where the main characters are intricately linked with each other, rising and falling as a group
- A fast paced story without much extraneous fluff
- Intrigue and manipulation (Describing one of the main characters, one of my readers wrote: I think this might be the first time I see a "reincarnated" spy in a webnovel that actually feels like she does intrigue and manipulation, instead of just solving all her problems through brute force)
- Dragon Ball Z level power scaling, with the main characters able to blow up planets by chapter 250
- A very, very slow burn romance
- Common webnovel tropes normally done poorly twisted for the author's amusement to make more sense and work in the story
- Main characters without the best morals
Content Warning:
One lead in the story is suicidal at the start and undergoing a pretty bad breakdown, while the other is possibly even more messed up, only better at hiding it. Their need for therapy is a plot point, and, given the nature and length of the story, they mess up a lot before they get better.
Great to see this continued, I was folllowing on Royalroad and when it stopped updating I feared it was abandoned. Finding this again made my day.

One of my favorite stories. I followed this author from Royalroad to Scribblehub, getting an account expressly for the purpose of reading this singular novel. That's how much I like it.

An intriguing story featuring advanced world-building and competent protagonists with intricate back stories. The interactions between the multiple main characters are interesting and contributes to the plot which is as unpredictable as the characters themselves. So far, I have no complains.

After reading this story for a long time (before the "rewrite"), I finally write my Review.
The Book is quite fun but not for everyone, as the Writers style is fastpasted and focusses on the Story with many timeskips between a lot of chapters. These can range from days/weeks/months and I predict soon over Years.
While I Personaly really enjoy that style I can understand that not everyone will like it.
PS: I dont normally write reviews or Comments and so my Review might not be the best representation, but I hope you can give the Book a Chance since you end up liking it as much as I do and if not, you will quickly realize if you like the style or not.

The only issue I have is the fact, Everything is mostly if not entirely from her view point. We can go entire chapters before we see from his and then they are entirely short or over too quick. I understand wanting two mcs. But if the second one is basically treated as a princess in a tower. It kinda defeats the point.
