A wonderful story set in the Edo period of Japan, follows our protagonist who deals with the struggles of working as a geisha, finding love, and facing the hardships of the time period. Wonderful writing (Wich Beedok always is amazing at) and really shows her reach with writing a more serious story (compared to Harem Protagonist Was Turned Into a Girl's more whacky comedy and hijinks) and doing an excellent work with it. And for all of you looking for a gendery story, dont worry! Orchid of Edo has that too!
