As I have read about the history of this strange new world I find myself in I came across a very interesting topic that could help further my goals. -John

The Last Great Dwarven Empire was the 3rd Dwarven Empire to exist. under the Mountain king Dron Dregard the 4th the empire thrived with riches and innovation. He ruled over all the Dwarven kingdoms with an iron fist uniting them under his banner. They had discovered a new form of weaponry that had the potential to even the playing field between the magic users of the world and Dwarf-kind. But the Angelic alliance (grew jealous and) felt threatened. And so they waged war against the Last great Dwarven Empire for 15 years eventually ending with the destruction of the empire and mass displacement of dwarven kind. To this day there is no dwarven kingdoms. 

The Two Great Churches are  the official religion of the Kingdom of Magistrae. It is one church divided between the Holy Church of the Light and the Holy Church of the Shadows. This religion believes in human supremacy and that magic is divided into 2 main categories: Light magic and Shadow magic. There is a 3rd category but that is evil magic and therefore forbidden. Both teach that humanity is the superior race and that all others are abominations as well as that magic is the key to purity and harmony. 

The holy church of the light teaches light magic and the importance of life and eternal peace. This section is primarily matriarchal in its leadership.

the holy church of the shadows teaches dark magic and the importance of death and eternal purpose. This section can be either patriarchal or matriarchal depending on what Age it is.

It rose to power just after the Dissolution of the Angelic Alliance.

This being the primary and official church of the kingdom of Magistrae has brought uneasy feelings from other kingdoms and nations. Another major implication of the church is the institution of the slavery of nonhumans.

The two great churches are an evil and corrupt institution that practices cruelty to nonhumans.  They’re something that may bring me trouble down the line. - John 

The angelic alliance was a vast Empire comprised of 5 major kingdoms that united under one banner. They lasted about 30 years before  the War against the Last Great Dwarven Empire. After the war the alliance dissolved back into their own separate kingdoms.

The Sanctus Draco Empire is the largest human kingdom to exist to date. They have been in power for 500 years. They were one of the 5 kingdoms that formed the Holy Alliance. They are located on a series of large islands along the western side of continent of Europa. They are a major world power with territories and colonies across the world.

 They are Constitutional Monarchy meaning the King/Queen is not a lone in the decision making and running of the country. Their Monarch is the head of their Military and is the head Diplomat of their country. Parliament is in charge of the rest of their government, although the monarch is present at all meetings of parliament and is the tiebreaker in any argument/decision making.

The Sanctus Draco Military is one of the most powerful militaries in the world. Their military is divided into 6 sections:

1. The Royal Knights Corp
2. The Royal Navy
3. The Royal Mage Regiments
4. The Standing Army
5. The Royal Marine Corps 
6. The Militia  

The primary religion of The Sanctus Draco Empire is the Church of the Sacri Draconis Interfector.

They are very similar to the UK back on earth. They could prove to be useful allies should I ever find myself in need. -John
