Elliot was not the chosen hero. He preferred studying to actually working and never thought himself as hero material. Yet, when his friend found herself summoned by a god of Praecantio, Elliot found himself along for the ride. How will the gods react when they learn that an additional person was caught in the hero summoning? What consequences will it take? And will his title as Summoned Hero merely be academic.
I was a little leery at first with the title, but have bought in to the well written and fleshed out characters. A lot of believable motivations for all involved. Good story writing also with an interesting world. I look forward to the next chapter.

Overall a solid story so far. The supporting cast is interesting and the general world building has potential. However the novels biggest weak point is the MC. It not he is particularly bad, but his general characterization is messy and very inconsistent. He is described as intelligent and socially awkward at the beginning, but in about like 6 chapters he becomes sociable and so utterly dense it borders on stupidity. I understand someone can be intelligent and oblivious, but it can only go so far especially when said Character abilities is based around being observant and making hypotheses. This is further compounded by the fact he is so naive that when a character was laughing evilly while doing some suspect sh*t and told they were doing suspect sh*t he still believe them to be innocent. This cause a weird incongruity with the MC that hampers the plot because some of these issues could've been avoided if his character was consistent in their qualities. Still despite my general dislike of the MC at the moment everything else is interesting enough to keep me reading so far
