Ruby is an amazing protagonist, arrogant and self-important, but also untrusting and with a lot of trauma under her now reddened skin.
She's finally feeling and exploring a side of herself that she's never consciously known before and it's amazing to read.
Her growing relationship with Lilis is cute and something I can't wait to see how it evolves and grows with Ruby, as she grows and from the direction I'm seeing, works through a lot of her trauma and need to prove herself, which looks to be the source of her arrogance and need to push herself up as being superior than others around her.
I'm loving the way the story is going, the characters are all interesting and I can't wait to read how they grow - especially the little vyxa.
It's an amazing story and I can't wait to read more of it.

The protagonist is utterly insufferable. He shuns and insults people who are trying to help him, provokes people who want an excuse to hurt him, acts like a total d*ck to everyone he views as lesser, is extremely entitled. The premise was cool but the protagonist, and most characters for that matter, ruins it for me.
