A very interesting take on the Xianxia genre. So far it's been about how to deal with Xianxia protagonists and avoiding the evil plots surrounding them.
This novel is way better than all those CN parody novels at webnovel. Com and also everywhere else I can find. This is really unexpected. Probably one of the best novels in this site too.
The story goes a bit off of the deep end. I binged it and truly considered it a five star enjoying the genre savvy MC and the focus on him bettering his disciples. Then it shifts focus to the MC and extreme god level opponents. At the time I dropped it, the story hadn't returned, and looked like the story had no intention of doing so.
Spoiler
For me it was when the system reset his mind, and his parents leaving for six days was the start of wondering what was happening. Eventually I think there was 5 different godly beings 100 world ending monsters and mind control removing agency from the MC and the disciples being useless the whole time. In about 30 chapters.

I feel the story changes a bit for who it was written for.
Great novel, might not be everyone's cup of tea my only issue is the infrequent uploads as I waited for two years (truly am glad to know author is doing alright)
Also, it's been more than a month and he said next batch of chapters would be in a few weeks
This novel is all over the place it's as if the author has severe adhd the main character is mentally deficient and the other characters are just as stupid as regular xianxia novels. Caliing this novel a parody isn't an excuse for making it terrible espicially since it's not even funny and just relays on stupid misunderstandings that come out of nowhere.
Pro: Excellent parody work of your typical face-slapping Chinese novel. The MC has good intuition and keeps a cool head in every situation he found himself in.
Isn't a raging pervert. Isn't some bullsh*t protag with easily wounded pride. Overall very enjoyable in term of characterization for your average young master trope
Con: Late chapters rushed too much. Unnecessary death for the sake of shock value. The fake protagonist becomes kind of insane. Students get less and less screentime
Redundant worldbuilding. Confusing perspective change. Villain motives literally doesn't make sense. The author is running out of idea and is just slapping on whatever he think could work

Alastair Carter is a 27-year-old marketing and management teacher like many others around the world. Well… maybe besides the fact that he teaches some of that world’s prodigies, but it’s just a small detail. Even though he loves
Aren’t you tired of the typical cultivation story, where an isekai’d person comes into the world and becomes a brutal or selfish person? I know I am. So instead of being fully changed by the world, I want this protagonist to stick to t
A young man suddenly wakes up in a mysterious space after his fun goes seriously awry. He is soon greeted by a gorgeous and utterly naked goddess that offers to reincarnate him as a dungeon. He takes her up on the offer, but soon discovers somethi
