Amidst the dimly lit tapestry of ancient East Asia, a nameless knight from medieval Europe finds himself torn from the familiarity of his war-torn homeland, thrust into mystic Heian period Japan. A tale that commences in eerie twilight, where history and folklore entwine, and the supernatural reigns.
Once a valiant warrior of a medieval age, clad in steel armor, his memories fragments lost in time. Yet, one thing remains clear: a burning, unquenchable anger courses through his veins, rendering him into a man who thirsts for vengeance.
In this perilous land, he confronts nightmares from Japanese folklore: hordes of Oni, Tengu, Yurei, and malevolent spirits rise to torment him. Each battle, a dance of death, fueled by rage that refuses oblivion's embrace.
Traversing Heian Japan, the nameless knight encounters allies and adversaries. An unexpected bond forms with a young shrine maiden, her heart laden with sorrow and determination. Together, they embark on a quest to unravel ancient mysteries and find the path home.
But in this shadowy world of dark fantasy, the line between hero and villain blurs, and the knight's anger threatens to consume him. Is vengeance against these supernatural terrors justified, or a path to damnation? Amidst battles and bloodshed, he must confront not only the land's demons but also those within his soul.
In this Dark Fantasy Horror tinged with romance, the nameless knight's journey unfolds as one of relentless fury, heart-wrenching choices, and a quest for identity in a world where life and death blur like wisps of smoke. Can he return to his time, or will he become a legend lost to the ages, forever known as the Knight Too Angry to Die?
Honestly one of the best stories I've found on the net! I'm stoked to read a proper novel that executes proper storytelling compared to your average joe. I noticed on every chapter there's next to no dialogues but that didn't stop me from reading, I was hooked from first chapter and can't wait to read more about mr. Knight!
